  1. It looks like the +10 Enhancement storage slots for 1600 points are unlocked ACCOUNT WIDE.

  3. (They cannot record this, as it eats up loads of bandwidth)

We have Booth Babe Desdemona with Zwillinger to start off. Who tells us not to let her die on the new Underground trial.

The Ustream is a Panel refresher. We'll be going over Street Jusitce Melee, Beam Rifle ranged, and the Signature Stories.

We have Positron, who is told not to lean on the table, as it shakes the camera. So we'll end up with motion sickness and not headaches.

Posi thinks it's cruel to record him but not Desdemona.

Street Justice: "Second Mesaure's abuse of power power"

Posi: "It's fisticuffs, dirty fighting melee. Stuff from a back alley, kicking people in the jimmy, the junk, doing uppercuts. Many of the moves were inspired from the fight scene from "They Live."

Each attack has a differing debuff, each combo ending has a different one. So you can choose based on situation.

Animation wise it's "Some of the best animations we've ever done. Because it's for sale we made sure to go overboard on the animations we did."

    Tangent: Noise, gravelly-voiced Zwill.

Beam rifle: Goes "Wah wah wah wah wah."

It has a debuff power that will make other attackls have debuffs. Like -Def, or applying a DoT.

    "Kind of a Ghostbusters Gun."

The set is more about the visual effects than animations.

"With it being a powerset you'll have to buy we went overboard with the effects. IF you get this set you'll not be disappointed."

Travel pool additions! Free for all!

Afterburner: "We figured out a way to break the flight speed barrier. Faster than fast flight. So if group fly is not your thing Afterburner is the power you want as your tier 4 power."

Burnout: Superspeed "Recharges all your primary and secondary powers. It has a 30 minute recharge rate." Puts flight speed at 72.

Zone Teleport. Beastyle: "Zone to Zone."

Jump: Some sort of shield-charge like thing. AoE, possibly stun.

Signature story arc: Who Will Die?

Playing alongside the signature characters, experiencing the story of the characters. It will be a bit of a mystery. At the end you'll experience the death of a signature character and finding your role in it.

It is not a temporary thing, permanently affects the game world and content attached to them will be "Dealt with in a rather significant way."

"This is not introducing Praetorian War Witch just to kill her. We'll kill her eventually, but not with this."

Turning the camera around to see the crowd

Personalized Coh Photo ID's. On the back is the Olympian Guard costume code. Forgot to screencap.

Zwill is losing his voice. There's 2 days left and a party and another Ustream.

"Tomorrow's Ustream will be entirely in ASL."

They will be offering the costume codes in the Paragon Market.

"The air of exclusivity is a bit stale."

"Those of you selling them on ebay, take that!"

My question: "Is the +10 enhancement slot storage per account or per character?"

Posi: "I wish I could remember off hand and don't want to give the right answer."

Paragon rewards are per account. Consumables are vouchers in the e-mail.

Underground Trial difficulty: It is a difficult trial in terms of the enemies, but it is not as complex as Keyes. It's easier to coordinate.

They've thought about the arc affecting the Task Force Commander badge.

    Beam rifle models: A lot.

Best costume: Desdemona, and a Cobra Commander. They cannot show a nearby cosplayer due to Ustream limits. Posi saw an accurate Cammy from Street Fighter.

Beastyle complaining in chat: "They wouldn't let me take a sick day to come today and now they're talking about Cammy cosplayer"

Robot MM's getting beam rifles: "We're discussing it internally. Maybe not at first."

Character slots per server: "36 is not enough and we agree."

Posi goes to talk to the fans, we're joined by Second Measure.

Paragon Rewards Respecs: "They MIGHT be vouchers. But I thought they were automatic granted things. We keep trying different things and I can't remember what we’re currently doing. I'm living in the future and getting meetings about things to come. I'm working on Issue 22 and 23. The team has done such a good job with Freedom I feel comfortable doing what comes next."

Open beta: Soon ™, in the coming weeks. There is a date in mind, but he's not announcing it.

Freedom/Issue 21 go into beta at the same time.

Hoverboard: More vehicle powers? "Tell us what you think about the rocket board, is what it's called now. It depends on you."

    A Roman/Spartan/ Cimeroran shows up.

"Next zone to get an Atlas-style revamp: they know what it is. And it's not one of the ones we think it is. They've guessed it once for I22 in the forums. Some of the guesses for things in I22 are uncannily accurate."

No new incarnate powers in Issue 21.

Vicky code given away on air.

    Bringing on David Nakayama.

They’ve gone through two huge stacks of the posters.

"I've seen some of the VFX, you guys are familiar with Tunnel Rat's work at this time. It's more of the amazing out of the box mind-blowing effects. We've been doing things to the nth degree, the ultimate fire path aura, the ultimate lightning aura, all the aura stuff she's been doing."

Referencing the trailer for I21 posted on Youtube.

"You can finally see the scale of the Seed of Hamidon."

    I have it is HUUUUUUGE.

    Sig story teaser images.

"Marketing had a cool idea to start telling about it without giving the whole farm away suggesting we have certain heroes on the chopping block. It's a murder mystery, which of our big character is going to die. You all are going to be surprised about how it gets down and who gets it. This is not an on/off switch, there is a 7 month, elaborate, murder mystery story."

LeatherPup from Triumph is being shown in his 3 Wolf Moon shirt. Some other unnamed player is also brought in to be shown.

His impression: "I was one of the players who was scared when Freedom was announced, that it was a last ditch effort. I looked at the new things, all the pop ups, the store, the costume screen. This is not a last ditch effort, this is a double down."

A: Current subscribers and former subscribers that reactivate their accounts earn 400 Paragon Points per month beginning July 1, 2011. Any active subscriber also earns Reward Tokens in our new Paragon Rewards program.

    It's on purpose.

You get an extra token every year. So every multiple of 12 months is repeated twice. In red.

Also the chart isn't quite accurate it seems, since it also seems we'll be getting one Paragon Rewards token every month leading up to the release of Freedom.
  6. My guess is that they kept the temp travel powers because without them some people might not be able to access specific parts of the trial. For example the guns on top of the walls of Lambda.

Also some players use the temp/pack powers as their sole means of travel.
  7. Also please note the following:

  9. The Promotions tab is down on the side, but you have to click 'more' in order to get it to show up.

    This. Very much this.

I've managed to build a Crab Spider who has better resists than my FA Brute, more HP than said FA Brute, softcapped defenses to pretty much everything, permahasten, and two of her three pet powers Perma. Once I get Spiritual set, it will be all three.

Lots and lots of big orange numbers. I was tearing apart Rikti and Longbow last night without hardly a dent in my HP, something which my SS/Fire/Mu brute finds impossible to do.

How do they work with special enhancements?

How do they work with purples which are effectively fixed level?

More will be revealed as time goes on I'm certain [after all, we should be able to figure it out once we can start using them ].
From what was mentioned, it seems like it was a +1 in level to the enhancement. No idea about specials or purples.

If a newbie can sub and get to tier 9 in 3 years, then I and everyone else over that mark should be there already. Especially given the whole "we care about our loyal customers" schtick.
Those extra 500 bucks? They let you play the game for the past 7 years before the free to player buying up the Paragon Points to get the same amount of vet rewards.
  13. Yup, so it looks like you can choose freely between Tier 9 and Tier 9 VIP.

Not sure. From the information given I don't think this is answerable.

EDIT: One more question. It says you get an extra 150 Paragon Points/month if you're a Tier 9 VIP. What exactly does that mean?
The consumables at the lower tiers seem to me like "Hey, here';s something you might like to get later on when you're Tier 9. Try some out!" I don't think they're a reward below Tier 9 in and of themselves.

As for the points, Tier 9 VIP means that you'll get a total of 550 Paragon Points every month you're subscribed. Exactly what it says.

It's come up either in a previous Ustream or on the Facebook page. I'm pretty sure it was a previous Ustream, since I kind of remember writing down something similar.

It's not a times five bonus.

You get five of them. And they raise the level of an IO by 1.

Of course not, silly goose. :P Why would they sell you something ahead of time that is broken?

And that's the Paragon Market, where you buy stuff with points.

Paragon Rewards is the replacement Vet Reward program where you buy things from the Vet Rewards system with tokens.

And if you're a premium player, unlock features given to VIPs.

They don't cost 30+ points to unlock.

    They cost 1 point.

Everything costs 1 point and fills up a circle.

Think of Tiers 1-8 like a restaurant shaped like a pyramid with a flat roof and think of Tier 9 like the food.

You use up the food. You don't use up the pyramid you're eating the food on.

Occasionally they're going to change the menu so you can get new kinds of food.

    Sorry for the confusion.

I'm talking about AFTER this comes out. If someone new to the game signs up the moment CoH: Freedom is released.

To get to the 'current' level of veteran rewards (84 months) a player will have to get (84/3)=28 tokens. Said tokens are given out on a monthly basis after Freedom comes out, plus one per year of subscription.

    So 28/13=2, remainder 2.

So just a little over two years will earn you seven years worth of veteran rewards.

As a result rather than never catching up with the Joneses who were here since the beginning, you're just going to keep gaining points until you reach Tier 9. People who can already reach Tier 9 will spend their tokens on consumable rewards, rather than getting a new reward every 3 months that you'll never, ever, ever be able to get at the same time as them.

Odds are they won't be limited time only, but will be rotated in and out on a regular basis.
  24. They umm... kind of did.

You know by renaming it to Paragon Rewards?

No, actually. Reward Tokens are going to be handed out every month. Not every three months. Plus one per year you're subscribed.

So 13, per year, as opposed to 4.

So around 2 years, if they don't buy any points.

    Also, FPARN!
