Yea the other useful thing about the passive powers is when you are mezzed and your toggles drop. THey still leave you with some measure of defence, while you are held, sleeping etc and in the time it takes you to toggle them back on.

I think the resistance is against your defence being debuffed and as SR is pretty much only about defence, the passive powers are essential.

I hadn't picked up on that he trys to disrupt missions Lodestar. And I accept that i wasn't there.

And that certaintly would change my attitude as that just spoils the fun for everybody else. I play this game because its so much fun especially when in teams. My best experience in this game has been in teams and thats due to the players in the team.

And my apologies if i sounded that i was having a go at anyone, that certainly wasn't my intention.

I'll wait and see how it goes if I encounter him. I always try and give people a second chance even if they really annoy me.

Ive always found a really good comunity spirit in this game and like to try and contribute to that.

I've not been too involved in the higher levels of COH, slowly building my main up, so forgive me adding my tuppence worth as someone not too involved in this whole debate or had any encounters with Lui. Tho I have seen some of it on arena chat.

I'm not a power leveler myself as I get too much enjoyment of getting the most I can out of COH and personnaly don't like them but its part of any MMRPG. I tend to work on a live and let live basis as long as they dont get abusive or try to take adantage of you.

Reading thro the post it sounds like its what Lui is saying is the biggest cause of aggravation.
I'm with TG on this one in that while i think age is no excuse its certainly a factor. Teenagers around his age tend to feel small when in groups of older people and so tend to overcompensate and try to act big to fit in. And naturally when people respond to this will get defensive and go to the 'get them before they get you' attitude.

I think all TG is trying to say that he thinks much of Lui's attitude is a reaction to waht people say to him and the rest is just the lack of maturity of many teenagers, i guess based on the conversations he had with him. And therefore to test this theory out TG is suggesting that everybody lays of him for a while and see if he does change his attitude. If not then fair enough.

I for one if i encounter him will give him a chance and try to take any rubbish from him on the chin like the mature adult i pretend to be

Yip Dark Melee/Fire Brute for those reasons too. A lot of fun to use and hopefully some good combinations for pvp. Going to try without taking stamina for once - gonna be a scary time.
