Waiting to get things done on live present problems with a lack of *skilled* competition, as well as a rough time finding 8 at all to play against.
It's not as if you'd be doing officials right away if you weren't prepared, but if you never get on Test, you won't ever be prepared.
Do it, or don't. Just decide relatively quickly before a lack of activity decides for you. -
