Hola, here's an update. I've made some changes based on feedback from this thread, as well as just continuing to develop the design. Still a wip but closer to a final layout/composition.
Also, I think a positive way to view this thread would be both providing feedback for artists on their work and becoming more educated and adept at what it mean to offer a useful critique.
Other than that, she is looking great thus far!

By adding the word "with" before Johnnykat's name, it makes the sentence very clear that the comment is still being directed to Durakken and not at Johnnykat.
It is just a simple misunderstanding. Now put your pistols away and go back to your corrals.

I'm glad you like the top half, here is the same top with a super shiny chest shield and I changed the bottom a tad bit.

There is no situation I can think of that anyone would ever be in that pose other than looking at a picture and seeing if the pose feels natural or not by actually trying to take the pose.
And remember, BW (FD) said, the character is in the process of summoning dark energy from the pit of hell, so she (the character) is going to have her arms and hands twisting at odd looking angles.
The piece is going to be awesome when he is done with it!

I've been looking at the screenie and trying to figure out what it really is. To me, it looks like there is a boot sticking out on the right side. What a strange object!
