Welcome to the game, and welcome to Triumph!

Gratz, Guy! Yeah, I remember Bob the Biohazard! I think it was from doing MLGTF runs.
My hero badger is sitting somewhere in the 780s, but for now he's not going rogue, so no villain side badges, atleast for awhile. I thought somewhere it was stated that it gets more difficult to switch sides each time you do it, so I'm not sure if that's really the case, but right now I"m just holding off. I have a spreadsheet I use for myself to track (hero-side only) badges and double check w/ the badge tracking sites- to have to go back and now add all the villain-side data is just too daunting a task right now, so I've given up on tracking them for myself *sigh* -
Nah, Shorty was the one who lives in South Jersey. I'm more central, in Union.
So, Harrahs, huh? Well, I guess the next time me & the wifey can make a trip out there... is when the kids are old enough to go.... which will be in like 2-3 years.........

Gratz on your bachelor party, Turbo! I had mine in A.C. years ago as well- if you can't make it out to Vegas, A.C. is like Bachelor Party central in NJ! (btw- what hotel is that in the pics? I'm not really familiar w/ the hotels & casinos in there, but it looked like a pretty sweet setup!)

Take care Rhyn, it was great teaming and Hami raiding w/ ya, I hope you guys do come back eventually, more sooner than later. Yeah, it really sucks hearing when people lose their jobs- I'm actually in the same boat and lost my job as well at the end of June, heh (although given my particular situation I'll be actually making more money being unemployed for the time being, go figure...). Anyways, don't forget your favorite MMO and your favorite peeps on your favorite server- I'm sure you'll find most of us here when you guys come back!

Woot! Gratz Triumph on another successful Hami Raid. Sorry it took a while to finally take Hami down, but everyone basically stuck through it until it was done. And considering that the majority of the people were either first timers at a Hami Raid or old time vets who had only done the pre-I9 Hami, it actually went very well IMO. Although we had to pull out a few times to reset from some team wipes, we did have progress each time we went in. And by the last wave, it looked like everyone knew exactly what they were doing and we did the 4th wave in one sweep.
Since we had a few vets there to fill in some key leadership roles, I tried to make the instructions as simple as I could for anyone not on the Hami Taunt or yellow mito teams: Follow the main targetter and kill whatever he was targetting (green mitos, then blue mitos)- and that's it. The scrapper, hami taunt, and controller hold teams were in good hands, so my main concern is usually making sure that the tanks on the yellow mito taunt team are coordinated and are each taunting a separate yellow mito. I stayed on the yellow taunt team as a scrapper to make sure I can see that the 5 tanks are on their assigned mito, and then make sure the scrapper team starts on the 6th yellow mito that was available. With that taken care of, all that was needed to instruct to the rest of the raiders was 1) Buff up, 2) Bionuke, 3) attack thru the main targetter. Like Gem said, having some Dark Defenders or bubblers for the fear/mez resists could have made things much easier, but that didn't stop us from pressing on forward!
Since it's been a few years since I've organized one of these, I wanted to thank the following who made it real easy for me to organize this:
1. Emerald Fusion, Kaasha, Mintmiki, and Bimbo for organizing the Hami Taunt team
2. organizers for the other key teams:
Sun Splitter (what?! he was here?!)- scrapper team
Dragons- controller team
Kyle Al Mordu- blaster team
3. Otelo for being the main targetter (I think it was hie first time at it, too!)- I figured that since he's used to calling out targets in PvP, this should be easy-peasy for him as long as he knew which mitos to target for everyone!
4. Anyone who brought EoEs, and Dr. Gemini for organizing the EoE/GM hunt on Friday (sorry I couldn't make it for that)
5. Anyone who brought bionukes (Fyrus, Bluebella, ThugOne, Last Ronin, Einot Imperium, and a few others)
6. Turbo Starr's Council of Heroes (formerly the Riders of Apocalypse), as well as the SGs of the Grand Coalition (Fusion Force, Wild Cards, and Global Heroics)- these SGs are always around somewhere to assist when you need them
7. My top notch yellow mito taunt team! The 2 buffers (sorry, forgot who they were, but you know who you are!), and the tanks (@-graystar, Gavalin Kingsbury, T'Rne, Arachnid _____ (forgot the 2nd part of the name), Mr. Slovakia, and Statesman V who filled in for Gavalin when he had to leave). You guys were on point the whole time, and that helped the rest of the teams to make progress on the mitos each time we went in!
Cyas at the next one! (TBD, as usual)

Sorry, EST (updated the original post)
@Otelo: we'll most likely need the Ill/Rad for the holds on the greens -
Err, forgot one minor (could be major) detail: we'll need the Bionukes from Warburg if possible. Hami raids are doable without them, but the bionukes would make the raid much easier and faster. Thanks!

Turbo & Gem- I may need you guys to help organize the yellow mito taunt team w/ ur tanks. This is the team that always concerns me due to the coordination.
EoE farming on Friday sounds great! I'm not sure if I can make it, but I may be late if anything.
Hey Crim- what other heroes you got besides a blaster?
SwellGuy- we'll take ur troller- we'll need lots of holds for the greens!
Hi Tahq, long time no see! *waves!

Ok, so it's been either 2 or 3 years since I've organized a Hami Raid (I do remember it was around this time of the year because it was around my b-day). Well, I'd like to make a little come back from my hiatus and see if I can organize one again before GR comes out. It might be a good time to try to get one together since there have been talks of Monster Mash again, and MLGTF runs also encourage the cultivating of EoEs. So, Saturday July 17th I will attempt to organize a Hami Raid, and I will try to keep it as straight forward as possible. Just a few requests and some info for those who can attend:
1. Gathering time and place: Sat 7/17/10 @7:30pm EST on the south rock to sort out teams, start time will be about 8pm or so
2. All attendees please learn to fly (or get a Jetpack from the vendor in the Shard)
2. A Hami Taunt team (2 tanks and 2 buffers w/ TP)- experience will be helpful if possible
3. Yellow Mito taunt team- consisting of 5 tanks and 2 buffers w/ TP
4. Melee damage team- consisting of scrappers or tanks, plus atleast 1 toon w/ TP
5. Controller team- consisting of controllers, and one of these controllers will be the main targetter
6. All other ATs: just bring Awaken and Break Free inspirations
7. EoEs: In case we are unable to organize an EoE farm session this week, no worries- it's not an absolute necessity for this raid. I should still have enough EoEs stored to distribute to the taunt and melee teams
8. We need Warburg Bionukes if anybody can bring them
I'm going to try to handle this in somewhat of a PUG fashion, just interested in seeing what Triumph can muster up when it's time for the raid. I've seen plenty of raids go very smoothly on this server, so I'll gamble that things will be able to work themselves out, but we'll see. Not looking for anything fancy, no cell death or anything, just straight out of the ol' book that Triumph follows- 4 waves and then we're done. I won't be on any type of team speak or skype- I just want to be able to communicate soley through chat. I want to see if I can organize it in a way where it won't be too complicated for people to learn their roles. Not even sure if a hami raid can get even get off the ground right now on our server, but we'll just have to see how it goes. Maybe we can draw out some of our peeps who have disappeared into beta testing recently. Cyas hopefully next week!

Ok, using this thread to post scheduled runs for this badge. @-Graystar and I will be planning to do another run for this on Wed 6/23 @9pm EST for any more badgers looking for this badge. We had another successful run last night- gratz all! The average time will take about 2 hrs- we're doing it nice and slow to make sure we don't rush into a silly death, especially since most people running it right now will be using their main badgers (if people were using alts on the TF, I'm sure we could shoot for a speedy MLGTF and see how well we could do). The roster I have so far for Wed is:
1. @UltraBatz (AT will depend on team makeup)
2. @-Graystar (AT will depend on team makeup)
3. Nericus (@Voltar)
4. Master Stryker
5. @Eliminist (have to confirm if he can attend scheduled time)
6. @AcceleratorRay (Kin/Rad)
7. Mylia
8. open
Please try to bring EoEs with you, 4 at the minimum, 7 minimum if you're bringing the Tank or Brute to help taunt Hami. Cyas then!

Woot, new shiney! Thanks again for the invite, guys! Even though it took over 2 hrs, slow and steady wins the race! Yup, w/ me and Turbo on soft-capped SR scrappers, it was fairly safe and easy to fail the 1st and 3rd mishes w/out endangering any squishies. And we disciplined ourselves to take it slow on the hami mish, especially since that's where we've been failing recently. I'll be bringing my tank or rad/sonic to help out any future runs on this badge, great job all!

Gratz to the team that got MLGTF last night!
Yup, I'm still down for MSTF and MLGTF, gonna try for MLGTF tonight, around 8:30-9pm. For MSTF, I'm trying to get it on my Peacebringer, but I'm open to bringing a more useful toon like my rad/sonic or tank so people could get it on their badgers and then alt around to fill in what's needed when I try to get it on my PB.
I think Amber Blackstone is looking for MSTF too, I'll check with her. -
Stunny, or stunning, as in my good looks!
I think someone mentioned that the PvP was enjoyable probably because it was without the trash talk that you sometimes see in the zones- I actually don't mind it, sometimes I get a kick out of it. For me, it was more enjoyable because TS was set to OFF (*glares at devs...*). I never gave it too much thought myself, but I really like the fast pace of PvP when there's no travel suppression. Oh well..... -
had a good time w/ the kickball matches last night, we were able to get a 6 v 6, not bad. Thanks for setting this up again guys.
