It says it has a Penchant for the Dramatic...
But anyways one of the developers, I believe Hawk?, said it had a hidden Easter Egg if you slotted all 6 or something of that nature. What was it? -

So you cannot just type /releasepets and kill them?

Quote:Do we know numbers or mechanics? IE can Victory rush stack? Is misdirect auto hit and the potency of the debuff?Customization for all Power Pools (including APPs and PPPs)
Concealment: Misdirection added as a fifth power, an AoE Placate and resistance debuff
Leadership: Fifth power is Victory Rush, it targets a defeated enemy and gives a Recovery and Endurance Reduction buff to you and your team.
Medicine
Stimulant is changed to Injection and can be used on both allies and foes. When used on an ally this has it's normal effect. When used on a foe it debuffs their Recharge, Damage and To Hit.
Field Medic added as Fifth Power, a click power that improves the effectiveness of your heals and decreases your resistance to healing (so that heals done to you are more effective). In addition if you own Field Medic Aid Other is uninterruptible and Aid Self gives an Endurance Over Time effect as well as a heal.
Injection sounds awesome for the mad scientist -

Anyone able to post it? At work but what was announced for the new pool powers? Share the details!

Does this badge give team or only the person clicking credit? Also how often do they respawn? Can you click and dismiss them or do they need to die?
-
Wasn't that retconned? Or didn't it have something to do with the fact the Rikti don't have a Well?

This power could be a gem in disguise... I was thinking if it works anything like the Assault Bot burn and creates a patch per person hit it could be REALLY nice.

Quote:No but I can make the statement SSA2 is finished since they moved past beta testing it and they are now testing SSA3.It is my firm belief that unless you know the workflow, hours, billing, planning, stages and working team of Paragon Studios and their content creation, you don't have the right to say things like "YOU'RE NOT GIVING US ENOUGH" or "NOTHING NEW? WHAT IS GOING ON, COME ON DEVS."
The devs are hard working people who bust their ***** to get us new stuff every month. Unless you can do better than they're doing now, get off your high horse and be patient like the rest of us.
So why don't we have it? None of that corresponds to your statements. -
Just a really bad week in my opinion. It seems like more focus was on celebrating the Batman release come Friday with some of the item picks then actually giving us anything new. I know there is plenty of items in the pipeline.
If something is new and ready to go, why isn't it given to us? Was there an issue with SSA2 in beta? -
Quote:See I am in the opposite boat, if they hadn't added Incarnates I would have gotten bored a long time ago. It was the original problem the game had, no end game content. Now you can play a single character and keep making progress on it.So much this^^^
Sometimes I wish they hadn't introduced Incarnates. I frequently wish they hadn't concentrated so much new content on them.
As an altoholic, fairly casual player, I don't have a single character "completely" incarnated. I have 1 that has the first, possibly the second level shift. I have another one that has the Alpha slot unlocked.
If OP has his way - the other 50 or so characters will be useless, and the character that has partially shifted will be borderline. Ughh.
I enjoy raiding and seeing my one character grow more and more powerful. However, I think its fair that people asked for solo content, that I ask for solo content that challenges my fully Incarnated character.
Even DA on +4 isn't a challenge because I can slot Ageless Epiphany Radial and nullify all of the debuffs. -
-
I wasn't sure if the new SSA's go out at midnight if they are released?
-
And it used to take 2 months to hit 50 now people do it in 2 hours. Point is they will probably reduce the requirements to create lower end incarnate powers.

Quote:Disagree by the time Battalion come out the solo path will have been around a year. That is a very reasonable timeframe to be +3.Nope. Story-wise, you can always make a good argument for just about any new content being bigger, badder and therefore higher level, but gameplay-wise, it's the wrong move. The lower challenge cap for level shifted characters is a problem that needs to be resolved, but not at the expense of those who don't already have them.
If this came with I24, your average newly Incarnated solo/small-team player is going to finish the existing content (DA/Vertrano) then run off to the next story and find themselves as a 50+0 (+1 if lucky) facing 54s with no way to turn down the difficulty any further. Whee, fun?
Give us another three or four DA length stories at the existing difficulty level to give characters on this track a reasonable chance to get to 50+3 (without weeks of time-gated mindless repetition) and we can start talking base 54s. Base 51s or 52s might be reasonable, but 54s? Definitely not. The solo/small-team grind is far too long to be looking that far ahead yet. -
Quote:Most people seem to forget Ageless Radial Epiphany given your statement. Its better then barrier in a lot of cases too. With the new mobs in Dark Astoria we've seen the developers ramp up the difficulty and powers in mobs without raising their levels. The debuffs provided by the Banished Pantheon and Talons of Vengeance make them a threat in numbers to most builds, even being +3 to them.
It wouldn't surprise me if we see more of the powerful strategies used by players moved towards use in mobs and coupled with a few level shifts here and there. With a name like the Battalion, I can see the forces being numerous. If they play them like the Talons then there won't be much need to increase the level shifts for most players.
It gives not only +Rech for 120 sec and a full end bar, but near immunity to debuffs for 30 seconds. It gives 87.5% resistance to Defense, Regen, Rech, Accuracy, To hit, End, Recovery, move speed, etc. For the next 60 sec it gives around 55% and then 27 for the last minute.
This makes the debuffs nothing its night and day. -
I should clarify, this would be in the normal missions, solo content like in DA.
-
One of the issues I've seen in Dark Astoria is that the enemies can be level 50. When you have full Incarnate shifts this makes them grey in missions unless you turn up the difficulty slider. With the Battalion coming soon, do you think they should be a minimum level of 54 (50+4)?
This would allow Incarnates to slide them up to level 58 (And I assume more Incarnate shifts are coming) and I think it would really help with the lore of these guys are pretty deadly (They are the Coming Storm, the people that have destroyed nearly a universe of different races and absorbed their power). It would also force new people to have incarnate powers before battling them.
I remember when they were first announced that it had required IO's to fight the Battalion. This was back in like Issue 6 or 7 when the Invention system was in its infancy and Battalion had a few screenshots. -
Quote:So did he get it when Freedom launched or did he get it back in April?Yes, we know of at least 1 confirmed toon with it. It gives Bimble 1,399 total badges.

Quote:So is this all the roleplaying that goes on in Pocket D? I've met some cool roleplayers before that made the experience really enjoyable. I had a new alt and was doing the Death From Below Trial and this guy played a war soldier that was leading people into the sewers to defeat Hydra. It was pretty cool and he had some macro'd scripts and such for the various sections.I entered this thread prepared to defend the roleplayers on Virtue. Then I saw..
And that's all I had to read. If you're new to Virtue, Pocket D in the evenings is where a few people go to solicit some strange roleplaying in the side corners. You're going to get the occasional person seeking attention by doing what you described -at which point you can either call on them to take it to private tells or just move on.
It doesn't happen so much that it's common, but what you've run into is why plenty of Virtue-ites joke about the D. Most roleplaying isn't like that, but some people have, *ahem* needs that they enjoy fulfilling in a superhero setting, I guess. It's why you'll see a lot of roleplaying events scheduled outside of the D.
He was running them back to back and even roleplayed the reasoning for going back. It was pretty cool and entertaining. -
