How about the part where you tell us we're doing something wrong if we miss more than once in a row?

That doesn't change my response one iota. You're just splitting hairs now. Stop it. It's pathetic. You're wrong and you know it. Now go away.

Moreover, you were the one who made a critical error claim. You said, and it's been quoted, you can miss multiple times with a 95% hit chance due to that 5% hit chance. That's an impossibility in the interpretation you did not clarify as "in a row". That was your own mistake, not mine.
And I admitted it. Still doesn't change my point. Mainly because you're not going to be 95% hit chance against every enemy you face no matter how well you slot.

Also, do quote where I said Titan Weapons is "The top set", and not "Top tier" in this conversation? I'm very curious.
Hm, misattributed statement. However, I never actually said you said that. The person whose argument you scooped up did, though.

Been covered, thanks. Didn't know the streak breaker pushed it down that low at 95%. Doesn't feel right, but I'll take the Wiki's word for it. However, I find it highly unlikely that many people have enough accuracy/+tohit to find themselves constantly at 90+% hit chance against every enemy. My whole point was that Reppu made a statement that we were doing something wrong if we ever missed more than once. That was bull.

Technically, you CAN miss multiple times in a row with a 95% hit chance, but only if you're mixing in attacks with a lower chance. If ALL your attacks have a 95% chance, then the streak you mentioned IS impossible.
I'm sorry, that goes way beyond "misinterpreting". "Streaks are possible" does not equal "I'm constantly missing" in any wild stretch of the imagination.

"Top Tier" is like saying "One of the best". "Top" is like saying "The best". If you can't tell the difference, then I'll just quite trying to engage in a battle of wits.

Next; Streakbreaker denies your logic of constantly missing hit after hit at 95%.
The only place I said anything about "constantly missing" was in your imagination. If you have to put words into my mouth to refute what I'm saying, don't bother arguing. You've lost and you know it.

Because if you lose momentum, the DPS drops until you get going again. A miss on a non-momentum swing deals a MUCH bigger hit than a miss on a swing with momentum active. The point I'm trying to make talking about it with and without is that whether or not it's active makes a big difference. And even if you never miss, it does drop for at least one swing every few seconds.

If you're measuring DPS while it's active during the whole sample, it's going to be MUCH higher than if you measure when it's dropped.

True fact: Miss streaks NEVER happen with capped acc and +tohit!

Except, you know, you have a maximum 95% chance to hit no matter what and the RNG can be streaky on that 5% sometimes.....

Wow. I'm a pretty avid roleplayer. I like my storylines, and I like getting storylines in the game. Just saying that so you know where this is coming from: Get therapy.

    Consistency? Naw, too obvious.

I can understand being upset about the change of the name of the badge, though. And not saying consistency is the reason for that. However, I have to wonder if it would have been FAR more work than it was worth to have the altered mission award a completely different badge without changing the badges that had already been attached to it and awarded...

They originally belonged to Cryptic before Cryptic sold the property to NC Soft. I have a pretty hard time believing that Jacko would have just handed over his in-game persona entirely without strings even as a part of selling the whole CoH bundle.

Sorry, but I find it very hard to classify TW as higher DPS than everything else. It's on the higher end. But it isn't "the" highest.

And, even, somehow, if it were. One release does not a trend make.
I'd say it wins on burst damage. Someone who can keep momentum rolling good can probably keep it on top in DPS. But, in the hands of most players? It's up there near the top, but probably not THE top. Lose momentum too much and...yesh. That swing time sucks, and with heavy -tohit piling on, you'll find things going downhill in a fight FAST.

I get that it's not an incredible top-tier attack, but I have no idea how you arrive at "one of the worst AoEs in the game".
The word you're looking for is "hyperbole". It's a rather common tactic on game forums when someone's trying to gun for buffs for their pet build.

Depends on whether momentum is active or not. If not, its single hit damage is huge but DPS is "meh". If momentum IS active, the DPS is insane.

Yes, because the only thing that matters is damage, amirite!

Not that I'm contesting your overall findings, but this statement doesn't work. It's only a testament of the fact that people love to play with new power sets and flood the game with them for the first few weeks.

Now, I can go and make some 3 page report on my thoughts as to why it is I never go slugging it out with someone else in the game, but who wants to read that? So, for now while I collect my thoughts I come to the players to ask why it is you don't PVP yourself.
I don't PvP because my experience with PvPers in MMOs is always bad. Yes, there are plenty of nice people who PvP. However, I always seem to run into the foul-mouthed, juvenile brats. I play this game to have fun. Those people make the game very much NOT fun.

No. You have to buy the pack of cards to get the gum.
Yes, but you're not paying the whole price of the pack for the piece of gum. And, let's face it, the gum is crap that nobody really wants anyway. But, that's beside the point. Bundling in an extra with the product being sold doesn't mean the cost of that product is the value of the extra.

Your logic here is ridiculously flawed and, frankly, childish in the extreme. Did that cheap plastic whistle in your kid's box of Froot Loops cost $4? No, the cereal cost $4 with or without the whistle. Thus, the whistle was free.
