I have soloed Giant Monsters without temporary powers, pets or inspirations! I have soloed two level 54 AV's at the same time under the same conditions.

With the same character, I have soloed 54x8 Malta and Carnies, as well as power leveling friends faster than any other high end farming sets, all on the same build!

This character has also soloed entire bunkers on the Keyes trial, collecting every temporary power and returning to the bunker to do it again!

Finally, and yes I'm still talking about the same character- I regularly provide mass AOE confusion, even against level 54x8 enemies! I even permanently floor the regeneration of hard single targets, single handedly. These feats increase the efficiency and survivability of not only myself, but entire teams and leagues also!

So what am I, you ask!? At first you might think a Scrapper. Next, maybe a Brute...? No. no. He solos AV's and GM's, he doesn't just farm. He must be a Defender or Corruptor! What else could accomplish such single target feats under these conditions!? But that can't be right! How could a Defender or Corruptor farm faster than a Brute!?

Hmmm...

What could this character possibly be!? It seems like all the most high end, awesome attributes of character performance rolled into ONE SINGLE BUILD!

Well I'll tell you what it is.

It's a freaking BLASTER!

The Master Archetype, the Blaster.

More potential and less preconceived credibility than anything else in the game! And yet, the Blaster overcomes!

-If you intend to make light of or undermine any of my accomplishments, please post your own feats on YOUR characters, how they make mine irrelevant, and how you achieved all the same things that I did better.

Please do not post here and trivialize the accomplishments of me or anyone else unless you intend to provide your own feats that trivialize the feats of myself or others!

I'm not afraid of competition, I'm just sick of crap-talkers who are clearly just bitter that they can't do anywhere near as well, and so feel inspired to talk crap!

So from this point forward, if you intend to compete verbally, please be prepared to back it up with in game accomplishments that are relevant to the original post!

Drain Psyche is a great power, yes. It aids me wonderfully in my accomplishments. I like it quite a bit. Implying "tl;dr drain psyche" is not accurate, though! You can't do any of the above without good defense and resistance- The +regen is great, but it's not enough on its own to warrant high end enemy group soloing.

Even with that layered survivability, you can't expect it to last indefinitely. Eventually, if you just stand still, you WILL die. You need to be able to dispatch enemies quickly.

When it comes to power leveling and farming, the focus is killing things swiftly. Sure, Drain Psyche's self +regen aids in that, but the primary goal is to do as much damage as possible as quickly as possible.

The same goes for AV fights- You need to build the appropriate survivability and have well slotted single target attacks in order to dispatch your enemy swiftly.

Taking alpha strikes on Incarnate leagues? My Blaster has soloed entire bunkers on Keyes, gotten all the temps, charged terminals, gone back and done it again. This isn't just a "Drain Psyche is OP" case.

I think that there are other combos of sets and AT's that can achieve the same level of self sufficiency and greatness that I have on my Blaster. I regret that I've been forced to defend myself in this post, but please try to remember, casual reader, that the ignorance of one poster being corrected does not mean that I created this thread to brag!

Edit: To elaborate. The last poster is clearly intent on summarizing my accomplishments in single words, thus undermining them. You would think that this poster must have a GREAT character that is truly a gem in our game, that can accomplish all of these same things without any of the powers I used! Either he has found some unheard of, amazing way to beat the heck out of this game, or he is just bitter and jealous because his own accomplishments on HIS characters do not stand up to my own. I'll let you decide.

This discussion has been had in the past, in a sarcastic sense, on this forum. Really though, it IS possible to do everything on a single character with a single build. I don't mean 'everything' in a trivial sense, ie: Clearly no Kin defender can cast ice shields.

Here's what I know a single character with just one build can do, though:

-Solo Giant Monsters. No temp powers or outside +dmg boosts, including Inspirations. And no Lore/Patron pets.

-Solo 2 level 54 AV's at a time with the same restrictions as the above-mentioned.

-Solo Task Forces, including Master of ITF.

-Farm as fast or faster than any other high end farming build. Power-level farming included, 1-50 in around the 2 hour mark.

-Solo enemy groups such as Carnies and Malta on 54x8.

-Mass-control entire 54x8 spawns, providing mitigation for teammates.

-Take and absorb alpha strikes single-handedly, providing a cushion for teammates.

-Permanently debuff hard single targets, making it easier for everyone in your party to accomplish a goal.

Now, this isn't meant as a brag thread. I'm curious to see other players potentially come out of the woodwork and display that they have also accomplished all of these feats on a single character with a single build.

I'd also like to raise awareness within the community that this is indeed possible, and to encourage people to strive towards reaching similar levels of excellence on their characters.
