I've had a quick look and come up with my own verson. You will hit 48% melee with one hit of DA, increased recharge to 52.5%, regen is the same. Increased end recovery and reduced end usage. Have lost a bit of def, s/l resist and down to 4kb prot. Still within the range of popping a small purple and hitting over 45% on ranged and aoe. Hopefully this build will help and give you ideas.

Personally I would scrap that and chase s/l/e/n because you can achieve much better results IMO and I dont think its much of a loss in survivability.

The procs are where I wanted them to be...why would I see that as being the wrong place?
The recharge I can live without, I intend to run Ageless Radial anyway whichever way I go...

Tinkered with your build a bit, dropped Titan Sweep for SS. Still needs a little work (a kismet somewhere would help, defensive sweep is kinda underslotted) but this comes pretty close on positionals. 45.6/44.7/45

EJI, this gives me the other side of the coin I was trying to get...I lament losing Titan Sweep to get there though, let me see what I can come up with tweaking this some here and there.

As an aside, the build I went with for my staff/da has 45/35/35; I could've capped all positions but I felt the sacrifices were too great. I got my recharge up to 3.5ish seconds from perma-hasten, which has the side benefit of bringing my heal up really quickly.
As to -kb, I think 10 pts should be fine for most situations. There's actually quite a bit of variation in baddie kb magnitude, check this out if you haven't:

Need second set of eyes on this build, I have stared at it for about 3-4 hours and cannot seem to get it to softcap positional using defensive sweep. I would also like to have more recharge...but I can live with it where it is for now if need be. Hopefully someone sees something I am missing...this build is driving me crazy...
