I think it might have been because when a lot of the Bioware Austin (TOR) staff got laid off in the usual re-shuffle that happens after an MMOs release, Bioware Edmonton also had a minor reshuffle and Stanley Woo was laid off as a paid moderator. People did the usual 2+2=22 thing and came to the conclusion Stanley was fired because TOR was apparently a disaster and Bioware needed to drastically cut staff to minimise its losses. Also, IIRC he banned someone for bringing up TOR in a negative way on the ME3 forums as well.

Quote:While funny (and accurate) it's still an odd video, because Stanley Woo has only ever moderated the Bioware Social forums and has absolutely nothing at all to do with TOR.Yeah I know.
I guess you're not well-versed in the lore of the Tortanic tragedy. Allow me to enlighten you.

Quote:Been playing SWTOR since beta, and Andryah has always been there, white-knighting for the game.
It also seems (from statements in that thread) that there's a possibility that the person whose post I took a screenshot of is a BW employee. Tho I have no evidence if that is true or not.
I don't believe s/he is actually employed by Bioware, (it's a favourite tactic on the SWTOR forums to try and discredit positive posters by accusing them of being employed by Bioware as paid shills) just a raging fanboy/girl who refuses to acknowledge any flaws and will try to twist even the most ridiculous situations so they can be viewed in a positive light, even going so far (as demonstrated here) to completely make stuff up.
And the thread was most probably deleted because after that point, I can pretty much guarantee it devolved in to an all-out flame war. Common occurrence over on SWTOR, I'm afraid. To quote from the movies, "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious." -
When being given the mission from Maria Jenkins to stop Mother Mayhem in Waxahachie Business Park, the mission text states: "Penelope Yin's Praetorian counterpart is called Praetor Tilman by those who back Cole's regime, and Mother Mayhem by those who oppose it."
Mother Mayhem's bio in-mission still uses the name Shalice Tilman. -
Quote:Haha... I realised that too.. saved maybe a second by having it ready to go in the serial code box.Way less. I had a second window open so I could read and type at the same time...and the first 4 digits pre-typed, as they are the same for every Mutantcode.
It's not cheating though.

She has problems controlling anything that goes faster than Ninja Run+Sprint, so when she's already using Ninja Run and someone SBs her, she ends up face first in the nearest wall. Which I find hilariously funny and probably goes a long way towards her whole hatred of unasked for SB buffs. (She loves everything else about SB, it's just the sudden, unexpected burst of speed.)

Another suggestion my wife and I have discussed for unwanted buffs (it personally doesn't bother me, but my wife goes ballistic every time someone buffs her with Speed Boost) is to borrow something from WoW and add the option "Remove Buff" in to the context menu when you right click on the power icon under the health bar. No need for a prompt and complete control over the buffs you want.

Nope, been playing around for a bit since I saw your message and it works fine for me.
