Okay, my first thought, was why is he holding TA's staff then I read the caption. I'm sorry if you liked your story, but as well crafted as it may be, the character you created morally disgusts me. Not saying you made a bad decsion or that you didn't do a good job with him, heck by me being disgusted you probably did a great job in creating the character you wanted.

yeah, the story of this picture is based on a number of elements, primarily "The End" series of stories by Marvel. "What would be the last story told of the character?" Pre-52 Batman (my inspiration for TL) was headed down this path that I put TL on in this piece, but fortunately, those events in 52 stopped him. This TL had no such event happen. There's also a bit of the Hulk's Maestro and the movie "Minority Report" thrown in there as well.
The current "616" Turkey Lurkey is nothing like that. He has the drive and determination of Batman, but the morals of Captain America. He sees everything as pretty much black and white. Heroes are good, always, and villains are bad, always. The alternate TL has become so blinded in his quest that he loses that morality and perspective. 616 TL would be disgusted by this and do anything in his power to stop this abhorent version of himself. Probably setting himself up in a paradox loop...hmmm....
Anyway, the majority of the pictures of TL make him out to be goofball (heck, that's the whole point of my "Turkey Scratches"), which I think is one of the reasons why this picture is so effective. It's a side of TL that nobody has seen and it's frightening.

The people included were folks that made Thanksgiving jokes about me....
But seriously, the ones chosen are folks that indeed I have drawn before and have done/gifted pictures to me. I had a huuuuuge list of folks I gave to Graver. Unfortunately, space, layout, and monetary issues prevented me from having EVERYBODY I would have liked to have included in the pic, alas. However, I'm starting to develop plans for another piece, similar to this one (it was too much fun watching people playing detective over this one), that I will be able to include even more folks in it. Hopefully Graver's still doing art when I'm finally able to scrape enough money together to commission it. Lol!

Turbo-ski's scarf is in a different room of the Turkey Cave.

She's got character refs in her DA scraps section.
She was quite a frequent poster in the Virtue and Art forums a while ago, real life has gotten the best of her recently from what I understand....
TL -
One last clue. My DA gallery holds the Data you seek to discover the identity of the final victim...er, felon, yeah, felon....
TL -
The hunt begins for the final character, the suspense in incredible, almost like film noir.....
TL -
Thanks everyone!
I'm wondering if I should do a rundown of the trophies or let people continue having fun trying to guess what they are....

Statesman was always one for pomp and circumstance. He gathered all of Paragon's heroes into Atlas Square, and addressed us from the steps of city hall. The air was electric as he spoke with his smug grin, "We have had a hard fought battle these many years. But we have streadily made progress in the war on crime. The Rikti have been driven back. The warring gangs that have run amock have been broken up and jailed or run off. Lord Recluse has withdrawn his Destined Ones and holed up in the safety of the Rogue Isles. The last remnants of Nemesis' Army have been rooted out and destroyed. Finally, at long last, the war is over. Thanks to all of you, crime has effectively ended in Paragon City." A deafening cheer rose up from the crowd. Heroes laughed, cried, kissed. I withdrew once more into the shadows. Let them have their moment, I knew better. Nature abhors a vacuum. Now that they had no purpose what would keep these incredible powers in check? The war was not over. It never is. -- Excerpt from the "Turkey War Journal"
The moral of this story? You don't #@%$ with Turkey Lurkey!
glee!

Heh, Turkey Lass is the only character I have that skirt on. And I've been focusing on trying to get Turkey Lurkey to 50, so I kinda forgot about her after I created her. lol
TL -
Yeah, I RP it that she's banned from Icon for outing Serge.
TL -
I'm getting Turkey with my Gravery.
You've been getting some great pieces lately, grats!
TL -
Because we at Turkey Co. are equal opportunity employers, we present the latest aquistions to the Turkey Lurkey stable of heroes:

Yeah, I took a close look at my paper copy and I'll blame my shading technique and the over-long eyelashes I gave her. Makes the eye look rounded and like a pupil. The scan and the size of the digital pic emphasizes that.
TL -
[ QUOTE ]
One minor nitpick though. Heri doesn't have pupils, her eyes are those straight glowy eyes that are just one color.
[/ QUOTE ]
Huh, that's weird that you say it looks like she has pupils, because I didn't intend to give her any. It's kind of hard to do green glowy eyes in a black and white piece, so I just shaded them in as opposed to just leaving them blank white. Guess I got to work on my shading techniques. lol
Glad you all like your pieces!

An extended flashing icon is nothing to be worried about.
If it starts flashing progressively faster...time to grab the good china and run.
