Actually I did not even know MP was hosting that till she just told me about 8 hours ago. So I look the fool, so too Twilight and Sooner there is a story contest already on here, I did not know that until now.

As for the timeframe I don't remember in the past what times on what servers because I was on the contestant side of things prior to this year. I was not even in PERC last year for this event.

That makes 2 interested in the story contest wow this is working faster than expected.
I was not aware of that, had I looked at the PERC rep list I likely would have started covering both Protector and Triumph. Then that thread would have been bumped a lot more. Suggestion taken and noted TwilightPhoenix.

I am hoping and planning to host the story contest on here to me having one person interested is good enough to make plans for hosting it very soon. I think I'll see if we can start it this Friday, how does that sound Sooner?

Your welcome I try my best to be my self in the forums and essentially everywhere in life. I am sorry that there were those that were missed I personally did not intend to ignore anyone. It's been years since I was a regular to Protector, and I was out of touch with what channels were the most commonly used so on and so forth, this is why we need a rep for all each server so we have insight about the players and everything really.

I can fully agree, I was not the Emcee on this peticular server, but I surely along with the other judges could have helped the Emcee broadcast and announce on more than just the request and pocket d broadcast channels. So for my part I fully accept the blame on this, for myself and all of PERC.

Then you are not the one I happened to see and sent a tell to. We are like everyone else in this game only human bound to make a mistake or not notice everyone randomly running around the D. I'm sorry that I did not notice you or your friend or send you both tells about the line up.

As for the list of PERC reps for the servers there is a list as Dazz said but noticing it is missing as he said. Though perhaps we might publish the full list for the players that are on multiple servers. But that is not my call.

I actually sent tells to the ones I saw not lined up and they did not join the line up even after I mentioned it to them. Yes we need help on Protector we have no reps here, sure that could be a sign. But not having a rep for your server makes it harder for those of us that do not know all the good chat channels to announce on here. So then it leaves us locating what we hope is a used channel along with the request channel, and events channels, and then broadcase once people are in the D. Sorry I'm kinda replying to multiple posts from this forum. I do agree that the judging should be changed a little because it essentially comes down to 4 people looking at both male and female contestants and picking their favorites and then having to take the ones with the most votes for them and saying the win. Like anything everyone is different and has different likes, style and taste. Unfortunately even if someone got 1 judges vote as a winner it does not allow them to win if the other three didn't like you the most or just didn't like the colors, or whatever reason. All we can do is take what suggestions are mentioned from this year along with the complaints and get those from PERC that will show up to a meeting put to vote what changes we make as we did this year. I'm sorry for those of you that missed it, or were wronged. But if you really want to do something about it talk to a PERC member or join up.

You are correct we actually met as a group those that showed and we discussed the problems and complaints from the previous year, and looked at your "the players" suggestions and put to vote on the changes. These are the changes that passed that were in this year’s contest forum posts. What can I say other than one person put it right in saying "People don’t really know what they want." We listened to the people, yes we voted (I know that whole American voting thing right) and it again worked out that obviously not all of the suggested changes were made. It's a process like anything else out there, this is a game and unfortunately we obviously try like heck to appease the public and still fail no matter how much we change and take from suggestions, we still find those who had problems.

3 Mile, I was not the judge that neither responded to you nor was I even a judge, just a Voice "Town Crier" if you will. I do apologize that you "were wronged" I think yes despite my better instincts to not voice my opinion think we could have allowed you to be judged. I'm sorry I should have spoken up, but also on the other foot we did announce in TW 2.0, TW 2.1 and APEX hotline how much time was left to get to pocket d to enter, I believe we even mentioned it on the request channel, and yes I know it was here as well but not nearly as many people read the forums until they get mad. Yes I can relate I have been on both sides of this event, I've been judged, I've been a judge, I've been a helper, and been a losing semifinalist before. The most I can say is come again next year, host your own event, apply to join PERC, or just go and have fun in the game and just ignore us PERC people, or whatever. Blow off the steam and get back to "the game" and just enjoy the game. After all that is what this game is here for, that is all anyone that ever hosts an event, makes a SG, forms a Team, and gathers people for PVP, Raids, TF's, SF's and so on is trying to do.

I think that some of what I said can be applied to all that have been wronged, or think they have been wronged in this contest from whatever year it was does not matter, just take my ranting’s as it is, and try to enjoy yourself. This applies to contestant and PERC people alike, I am from both sides and see both sides of the "contest" so I can both relate and empathize with both matters.
