Greetings all. I would like issue a New Photoshop tennis match.

What is Photoshop Tennis?[/b]
It's a game. Here what you do. Someone (me) Posts and piture and declares the game has started (Like this). Somone else then takes the picture and edits the picture using whatever editing software they have on hand. They then repost the picture, which someone else then downloads agian, edits agian and reposts and the cycle continues on until the game is over.

When is the game over?[/b]
Since I'm starting the game, I get to set the end time. In this case: August 31st

Are there any rules?[/b]
Yes. I will list them below:
1) Keep the art Teen rated thank you. No sexual imagry or references please.
2) any edited image must include the previous image. You may not simply black out the old image and start fresh.

What are you going to do when the match is finished?[/b]
I will download all the images and drop them into premier add a CoH sound track and make a fun little out of it all, like this (Result of the last Photoshop tennis match) and then post the finished video for everyone to check out.

Who knows, maybe we can make it a regular event or something.

Now, one note. This doesn't affect the tennis match, but it's a part of it anyway. I'm also issuing a Video challange along the same lines as the photoshop challenge but with Demo editing. if you wanna check that out: Duel of the Wizards (Demo Edit Challenge)

I had a bit of a crazy idea and I thought I'd roll with it.
Here's the idea: Basically, it's like Photoshop Tennis but with Demo edit.
So what happens is this: I'll post a demo file.

=====> Here's the demo file

Then, anyone who wants to can download the file, add to it, and repost it. Then someone else downloads the new file, adds to it, reposts it..... well you get the idea.

Couple rules:
1) You can only demo edit, no video edits.
2) no substitutions. Ya can't download a demo file, swap a model for another and call it an edit. Ya gotta add to it.

Since I'm the one issuing the challenge, I get to declare how long it'll go till it ends. So I'm setting an end date of August 31st.

When it's all done I'll fraps out the final demo file, drop a soundtrack to it (probably Duel of the Fates or something but I'll take suggestions)

So, who's up for it?

Actually, that's not bad looking. It has a little too much build-up, and your computer seems a bit laggy over the water, but once you get in the canyon, it looks great! I especially like the camera twist at the end with Imp and other notable Cimerorans standing there. Good job!

Okay here's what I need: I need to put people in the mountain passage of the mountains on the north side of the Cimerorian town. Long verson/short story:

What the heck am I doing?
I'm working on a commerical for one of my MA arcs, and there's a scene I want in the commercial where the camera moves through the canyon and you see dozens of Cimeroran solders.

Okay, so what do I need you to do?
Simple, stand in the canyon and look forward (forward being the reletive direction that you would travel to pass through the opening.) and if you have any pets (Masterminds, HVAS, Shivans, SoA troops, ect ect) Summon them. I dont need the passage way filled to overflowing, but I would like to get a good 50-75 cimerorans in there.

So what do you need?
Well, if I can get 10 mastermind with their full Minion load that'd be absolutly fantastic.

Can I do this with fewer?
Yes, but the fewer bodies I have, the longer it will take. If I can get 10 masterminds there at one time, we're talking 10-15 minutes tops. If I only get 5 at one time, we're looking at 15-20. If I only get single bodies (IE brutes, tankers, scrappers ect ect) we'll be talking 30-45 minutes. So yeah, Controllers, Corruptors and MMs would be ideal.

When am I doing this?
I would like to do this saturday night about 10:00 pm eastern.

With the entire zoom across the water I'm debating weather to do titles or a voice over. Voice over would be more effective and less likely to stress out the viewer, but well you can figure out the rest.

I'm in the procress of stripping out the entire camera movement and remapping the entire thing. The version you see in the video was a first test run. The second version should A) address all the points you raised B) fix several other little... snags and C) Be a lot smoother.

well I thought you all would like to see the results of your aide. This is still a rough cut as I have a great deal more to add and I need to fix timing, but the idea is there:

Hmm of the four I like 1 the best, but some how it just doesn't appear to be Synapse. It's nothing I can put my finger on, it just.... well it just isn't. Okay I need to stop now before I sound like a back sci-fi/zen script.

It does give me any idea though. Go right back to the originals: Imperious/Statesman, Daedelus/Positron and Solaris/Psyche and do a case by case comparison. Try and isolate certain traits common to each modern/roman pairingand then see A) if I got it right with my Orion Toon(Cimerorian version of Manticore) and B) See if I do the same thing with creating a Marathon toon.

.... Ya know, I've got a sneaky susspision that by the time I finished this story arc, I will have have cimerorian versions of the Phalanx, Back alley Brawler, Blue Steel, The Vindicators, and Recluses' Lts. Why do I do this to myself?

no hurry. I've been pulling my hair working on the story for over a month now. Probably be another 2 months till I finish the actual arc and it'll probably be another month after that that I finish this commercial for it.
