  1. depressed right now, assuming it will go live today
    -Can't really get out of work today
    -after work gotto go spend time with the in-laws( who I actually get along great otherwise)
    in other words no real issue 14 for me today if it goes live
  2. 1) as it stands now, i would say its extremely to people new to PvP here, simply put, the pvp mechanics are totally different from the PvE mechanics, and there is no in game resource that outlines those differences for you
    2) before issue 13, I would say it needed a lot of work, and now it still needs work IMO, while i understand where a lot of the i13 changes came from, I do think they went a little too far

    Really the most enjoyable PvP I would say is in the Arena both before and after issue 13, zone pvp can be fun at times, but at other times can be frustrating.

    Honestly, I really wish the CoX team would just invite the Guild Wars team over for some pizza sometime, and have them take a look, and get their feed back on PvP since they both work for the same company. I think the tragedy here is that PvP here could be so much better with the right design and mechanics.
  3. with regards to the entire mez thing, I think its a wash more or less,
    before issue 13, between breakfrees, SoW's, stackable CM's, status effects were marginalized anyway, the current regime IMO actually is an improvement

    DR I think we all know where this came from, I think it was needed, but maybe not to the extent that it was implimented

    Elustivity was definitely needed, however I think the problem they ran into, was that they were changing too many things at the same time

    Heal Decay - again I can understand why they introduced this, if not the extent
  4. My big problem with Purples is more something strange I see going on with my 50 toons,
    Drops in general seem a whole lot sparcer than earlier level ranges, in that its not unknown for me to run through an entire cycle of newspaper missions( that is 5 or so before your asked to visit Wiggy), and get only maybe 2-3 recipes( any recipes), out of it. Contrast this my lower level alts, where I can get maybe 2-3 recipes per mission at least.
  5. MM's CAN be good in pvp, however they have one big negative, their relaitive lack of mobility in the zones, in the arena this is much less of a problem
  6. I'll be honest here, overall I like the idea of merits, and do think they are going in the right direction with it, but
    -I do think some of the set recipes are a bit high, 250 merits, based on what will be the likely merit earning power of a toon, for 250 merits, I would hope for the complete set, or a purple recipes.
    -I had hoped that HO's, Purples, costume peirces, and so on in there
    -It would be nice for them to add a random role for recipes other than trial or taskforce
    -Also I wouldn't mind to still have a choice for a random drop or mertis for the TF's/Trials
    -I understand the problem with quick TF's, 3-6 hrs limit would seem to be more appropiate
    -I also would hope that the difficulty level would factor in the merit drop( which it doesn't)
