A mate was aking how I went about building my ws, so here she is, this is a build that I used for a respec after hitting 50, didn't bother putting enhancements in (to mids anyway )

I like playing Powershift a lot, She's good solo and in teams, and with inky aspect combined with starless step much fun can be had taking hellions and sprockets to underneath the Atlas statue.

Psynergy lvl 48 Mind control / empathy / psi

Solar Max lvl 31 energy / energy

given the popularity of psi blasters that seem to be supplanting the old fashioned energy jockeys, I'm thinking of renaming him Beta Max.

Iron Paladin lvl 50 invulnerability / super strength /energy mastery.

Thermadyne lvl 50 fire / fire / fire

One at 50, Whipsaw, spines / dark / dark.

One nearly there, Chastity Girl, Broadsword / regen / body mastery.(and the power of purity!)

why am I typing this?

Has anyone had / have this? demoplayback seems to be mostly broken...a clip of my warshade in the shadow shards doing a wave emote is fine, Get to Founders Falls however and stand next to a mob and my pc will eventually display the background with no other details, (toon , mob, fx etc) at all.

yet according to the task manager City of heroes.exe is utilizing 55-60% of the processor.

My old clips ( from about Issue 9) load and play fine.

my most recent attempts at demo capture were on the test server, but it happens on live too.

Appreciate any help/ advice/ sympathy etc.

I see a 'Danger Room' was suggested earlier in the thread...until that happens...wouldn't an arena terminal fill some of that function?

Most of what has been suggested above would be good. Especially the stuff that allows the group to put some stuff that can be uniquely 'theirs'. One of the things that appeals about base design is that it should be flexible enough to allow the base designer to realize a good concept. E.g. In a villain group my toons are in the base is laid out like the interior of a spaceship, control at the bow end to represent the 'bridge'. 'Engine Room' at the rear containing the power devices etc.Of course. the base design engine at the moment can't really make the design look that convincing at the moment..but you never know what will become available in the future.
