  1. Always liked the pieces you guys come up with. Really cool. This one is no exception. I love the details. As mentionned before, can't wait to see it in color.
  2. Well took me a while to finish the shading on this the way I wanted it but now I'm done.

I stopped counting the time I spent on this but here is the final product
    The Bell Twins - Final

And this is the file at the size I was working
    Big Bells (almost 1 Meg)

I want to print this and frame it so I worked on a size that would print well.

I had fun doing this hope you like it.

    Comments are welcomed as always.

First pass of colors people!!!! Round 2 will get started soon, I figure I'll just wait til that's actually done before posting any more updates, it was fun watching the pic fill up, but now it's just gonna be less dramatic changes probably not as interesting watching me put in shadows and highlights!

I do have to confess, it's sitting as my desktop now and i'm digging it again, after working on it for so long it was starting to get to me.

Glad you're liking it again ... wouldn't want you to burn out. It is coming along nicely.

    Ink a day ?

See I spent most of my time trying to get the clothes green. Well the ink (and sketch) were all black so ...
And since I was just trying to do this quickly, well I'm not sure it was a great idea. This is with the ink as it was.

    Ink a day ?

Had something I wanted to try so I tried it on

    Eye Candy

Not perfect but not bad I think.

    As part of our agreement. i give you a drawing of;

    Lazzarrus

p.s. just found out that i can't draw ripped/shredded cloth. soooo, i added a little color to take attention away from the cape.

    ENJOY!!!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Thats a very cool piece Tacky. Is that a dying Tsoo Sorcerer I see in the blade? Some really nice detail. As for the cape ... it really isn't that bad ... a little longer and more definition on the edges and you probably would have had what you were looking for.

    A little over half?

Had you asked us if this was a crazy endeavor when you started ... we would have told you ... WE knew!!! Actually ... we HAVE been telling you this is totally nuts since you started! You just didn't listen ...

Well you can't start listening to us now ... you have gone too far little trooper ... carry on!

    Looks great man ...
  8. *cheer* I finaly made it to the Mini-city!!

All good stuff Antihiro. Still looking great!

CRAZY ACE! LOL, old SG mate. That looks great.

You don't permit people to casually color your commissions do ya? I'd love to color old Ace.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Casually? ... your definition of casually is a little different than most of ours I'm sure ... I would love to see that.

Hooray requests! And here's an update on that latest piece. Enjoy!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Bah you replaced the original ... so I missed the progress you made

Sorry, I'm just a sucker for the art process in itself.

And since you are insisting on having a longer queue (that sounds funny in french) here is what I have to offer:

    My Ninja/TA MM
    Wulfyzuki Shihan
he now has 3 Genin (grey ones) and 1 Jounin (black ones)

    or Thornster
who has a whole page of pics to pick from

Then again, you can keep it very simple by going with the classic look of Capt Quebec who has his own page too.

I really like Serengeti Lord he came out real nice. Looking forward to more of your work.

I just ordered my own tablet ... if only I could learn to draw, I would be all set.
  11. Gratz lily it's really cool. Some might be up to their 4th lvl 50 and have forgotten how cool that first lvl 50 ding is ... but I remember mine (my only one). Yeah that altism (as you put it) is a wide spread disease.

    Congratulations once again.
  12. That is some nice pencil work. Looking forward to seeing who is in those wanted posters and how the colored version turns out.
  13. Wow ( and no that isn't the echo ) that is one really cool piece. Great work Alex, congratulations and happy birthday Spade.
  14. Hmmm .. one question: Who's room is that? Is that a whip I see on the wall? And I'm not convinced that is meant to fight for Justice ... hmmm
  15. Wow quite a project ... really nice work there ... to all involved

    Size matters.

    srsly

    [/ QUOTE ]

You are still talking about tablets right?
  17. [ QUOTE ]
I think my tablet is 4x5 also. I'd not go over 6x8 though.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Now you tell me ?? hehe ... I just walked through the door and sat a my computer. First thing I do is read this thread (I had read a few before heading out but not this one, trying to catch up on all the Christmas time posts). Now where was I coming from you ask? Well I had stepped out of the office to go try and buy a Tablet ... they didn't have the one I wanted in stock so I ordered it ... yeah yeah ... a 6x8 wacom graphire ... and then I read that the size doesn't really matter

Anyhoo ... I guess it's just an extra 100 or so dollars ... the 4x5 I had drawn on a piece of paper looked really small ... 6x8 seemed way big enough ... but I had to pick ... so I went with bigger ... I guess it should be ok with your recommendation.

(5 extra days because I wanted the blue one ... I know ... I'm weird)
  18. I love the colors in this piece. The highlights/shadows are not in your face but they are definitly there. You can see the difference between the metal parts, the leather gloves and the spandex suit ... really nice coloring.

    Really nice drawing period really.
  19. Really cool Gamma Girl ... hope you had a merry Christmas too.
  20. Nice action shot for WP ... I like.
  21. Yeah I might actually do that. See, I liked the sketch so much that I was trying to stick to it as much as possible. I did move some likes and adjust others but I tried to stay true to the sketch. I even added some lines in there that I knew you hadn't meant to be part of the final drawing but that I thought added some character.

There are lines like the ones from the mouth to the dimples that I wouldn't normaly have added to my drawing. Those looked really nice on the sketch but when I got to inking them I wondered if they were meant or not. I liked the style but wondered how it would look when colored. I know that if I thined those lines the characters might look like they were sliced open. So I left them and I think it still looks kind of nice.

It's a drawing anyway. Style and character are good things, and if we wanted perfection ... we would use screen shots and pictures or something.

....soooo...do you color on request? ~

    [/ QUOTE ]

You have no idea how much I would love to. There are so many cool pieces around here that I would love to have the honor of coloring some of them. But it still takes me alot of time to do this and I don't think I have that much time to invest in coloring. I love doing a piece or two, two or three times a year, but every piece kinda burns me out for a while.

But I'm not saying I would never do it ...
  23. Ok well I kinda laid things out like I would like them to go and added some quick highlights and shadow to get a feel for it. Those are nowhere near what I want to do with them but I thought I would give you guys an update anyway.

    The Bell Twins (WIP)

Next step is to go back and do nice clean hightlights and shadows.
  24. Hehe ... he's cool. Gotta love that mean main arm spike. Lunge FTW!

    Great job Antihiro.
  25. I'm assuming you are talking about different threads because I only see that once on this thread.
