God. I didn't even like v5 that much.
Way to spend all that time and money redesigning the site to look like my email inbox, DA. -
Hey, I'm opening queues for requests. I'm still going to be doing some free sketches for part of my Project 366 doohickey but I'm also going to be taking requests for paid commissions of other, more complicated drawings.....
I know I'm not all that but I'm really, really damn cheap compared to most folks on DA I've checked against, so it'd be a good way to round up some extra pics of your fave characters.
If you want some freebies post here and I may or may not take you up on the request, my discretion. If you want a paid commission post to my DA journal. -
I gotta say, too, this right here is the reason that this is the only board I watch any more. A bunch of people doing what they love and a bunch of people loving each other's work. That's actually a sort of rare community in the interwebs.
-
I'll set my current project aside and do 5 pieces for whoever wants them...inked and colored of course. I may not be awesome or in demand but I'm willing, at least!
-
I'd like to see you try my heroines, the Titanic Twosome: The Regular and her best friend Cowgirl.
-
Let my account lapse a wee bit but re-upped my scrip just to log onto this forum and say:
Truly awesome.
Thanks a megaton.
Everyone! BUY FOO! -
I'd like to nominate my primary S/S-D, The Transmitter, for any available month....Really, considering I'm not that known around the boards or community, I'd just be happy for him to be included. Even in like the bg somewhere.
-
My pleasure. Now that I've noticed the specs on your dA page, I'll do you another, better one.
-
Hey all, I rushed through some colors on the Titanic Twosome, check it out.
-
Thanks! I did too. I've still got a long way to go...
I hope some of you follow my little project. I could really use the criticism, positive or negative. It's not just about not realizing what I'm doing wrong, I'm not even entirely sure what I'm doing right! And ever since my brother passed getting back in the swing of drawing has been sort of important to me. -
As part of my Project 366 dealie I'm doing a lot of art of my City of Heroes and Villains characters. Check em out, then look around my gallery!
My main villain, Ezo Wolf
The Transmitter, my main hero
Wardrobe
Bluebird
The Regular and her partner, Cowgirl
Enjoy! -
My Project 350 has expanded to a full 366 and as part of Project 366 I'm going to be doing some City of ____ gift work. This one is for ROWR!!!
Sorry I didn't see the part on your dA page with more detailed specs until I had already inked the piece, Rowr. I'll do another one down the line to make up for it. -
For example, here's my namesake character, The Transmitter...
And here's my VG leader, Ezo Wolf
Both of whom I'm going to be re-drawing later this weekend. -
So I recently started forcing myself to draw again and, well, what I decided was...I had this sketchpad, right? I'd fill the whole damn thing. But then I thought, why stop there? So I'm filling 5 70-page sketchbooks. That's 350 drawings, almost one for every day of the week. I'm posting all of them to my dA account, and I'm going to have a bunch of drawings of my CoH/V characters in there. I know there's some talented folks here and I'll take any help I can get, so stop by http://disposablemilk.deviantart.com.

I should hope so. A forum like this isn't very useful if the only thing worth talking about is how many nicks are in Statesman's helmet.
-
I've noticed that too. It's not even a new phenomenon...I just know how I draw, and a lot of my drawing time comes when it's convenient or I'm bored and often there's not a computer around. I know a few other people like this and I was just wondering what people used besides their computers.
I mean saying you use Photoshop and a Wacom tablet is kinda obvious, like back in the day saying you worked mostly on paper. It's the other little details I'm interested in. -
Huh. I woulda thought at least a few more of you worked with traditional media sometimes...
-
I don't think this board has such a thing, so I thought it might be interesting to have a thread where all the big artists list their particular tools of the trade. Some artists after all get hooked on a particular pencil, pen, or brush as they go along, and for some they only use what they use because that's just the way it has always been. I thought it might be interesting, as well as helpful and instructive for aspiring artists to get a handle on what tools are considered the most common/useful by pros (since most of you get paid for art that, to me, constitutes 'professional artist').
So...? -
Wanted posters. With full detailing and a list of crimes. You could even have this for heroes, too; many must be considered unwanted vigilantes, and there's always those parallel world stories and such where good and evil are switched up. Or for the heroes, Arachnos wanted posters. "Wanted for assault on Mako, Interfering with larceny, incarceration of arachnos personnel."

Out of the name market for now. Nuked all my availables, sorry to anyone who needed them.

PayPal's pretty damn convenient but for some reason my bank hates it. I'm in the process of changing banks but I've run into major problems before that they were not much help in resolving.
