    Ugh!

    ya I find there are more non healer defender types now than in previous years, I still like having one dedicated healer but I'm all for the cold and sonic defenders when they're available.

    Here's a character I've been workin on for some time now, she's 30 or so and I'm just preparing for 50.

    I haven't really decided what I'm going to do with her but I've decided that this is a good build to start with as I see some farming capabilites and a possiblity for pvp though I have no idea how I would make a successful pvper in this game.

    TMG, one quick question about the build... You seem to have a heavy mix of damage-typed and positional defense going on. For example, six slots of Impeded Swiftness occurs twice in the build, with the 6-slot bonus being 2.5% melee defense. Were you really going for mixed defense types? Or were you going for the smaller positional bonus on sets like Impeded Swiftness (which then wouldn't require all six slots). I just want to be sure you are aware of how the different defense types stack (or don't), because that's a relatively uncommon thing to see done.
    Yes I realize that my builds are very unorthodox but I'd like to say that as of now I'm complete all with teh exception of LoTGs, positron's blast and the ragnarok set and even still I am able to solo AE BM farm at +2/x8. A lot of ppl say I should have twilight grasp slotted but the truth is my dark servant stays alive enough of the time to heal me and when he does disappear I almost never get hit enough to need to use my heal. Now of course I spam inspirations when I get em but why not when each group you can take out 10-12 in 3 atks leavin me only leits with half health or lower and the occasional miss with full health.
  6. This is the build I have finally decided on and put into play as of today. With the exception of obliteration and and the last enhancement in impeded swiftness I am perfectly fine with soloing +2/x6 missions solo and with inspirations to supplement my defense I can handle some AE farms with no helpers.

  8. Thanks for the input all. I've come to the realization now (after about 30 levels of solo leveling) that corruptors don't have the damage output I originally thought they did (or at least not with archery). I think I'm just going to play this character to 50 because I don't actually play a lot of my characters to 50 and I do enjoy Archery/Dark combo.

    I've settled on a build that gives 30.8% softcap def for all the positions and has a fair amount of damage while not aiming to max bonus damage out. I think between tohit debuffs and def I should be able to fair well enough against most anything +1/x4 with no bosses.

  9. I'm a very on and off player started from beta and only now just got done leveling my first villain to 50 the other day. I've chosen to follow up that character with an Archery/Dark corruptor and looked through about 30 pages of threads to find that no one has made this combo or posted it.
