Hi, yep me again. Honestly, I was going to let this issue rest, as it is clear that you really do not want to hear what myself or some other posters are saying. However, I had a few minutes and I thought I would put one last effort into trying to communicate with you about why I have found some of your posts offensive.

Since I'm silly, lets work our way backwards. Starting with what I quoted. Just because the OP didn't respond to you, does not mean that she was not offended by your post, it just means she didn't feel the need to respond to you, perhaps she is trying to be the bigger poster?

Second, you state that Roderick's opinion is "irrelevant" because you did not specifically ask him how you were 'attacking'. I think its pretty clear that I am not the only person who read your posts as being a bit, shall we say 'agressive'.

As far as us being "random, uninvolved people to be raising such a fuss" how are we uninvolved? The OP posted a topic, to which your response was neither constructive nor helpful, I responded stating that perhaps your post might violate the forum rules and guidelines and a few other posters also seemed to agree. I think we are just as involved with this thread as you seem to be.

I guess what I am hoping to point out is that, dismissing a person based on their global or forum name is kind of ridiculous. I mean look at some of the more well respected forum names: Top Doc, Claws and Effect, Arcanaville the list goes on, silly names but great knowledge and advice from all those players.

If you think the OPs post is silly, wrong or misbased, its one thing to state :

"Hey Bambi, I'm sure Paragon Studios gets thousands of ideas sent to them about power sets, I highly doubt that this April Fool's joke was a personal attack on you or your friends who may have suggested this in the past."

Instead you posted what you did. Perhaps in jest, perhaps just to flex some e-peen. In either case, sometimes a joke can be offensive and that was what I was pointing out to you.


Electric-Knight- I'm glad that you supported Aneko's side of the situation because as with everything there are two views, I am sure there are other people who also felt that his/her posts were funny and worthwhile. I would just state (again) that judging a poster's validity or worthiness shouldn't be based on their forum or global name. In addition, mocking a person because of something they feel strongly about is well... you fill in the blank.


Dark Gob- PM sent to you, since you seem to want to follow the advice of one of the posters and keep the 1:1 posts in private.

Aneko- I am sure you will have something to respond, I welcome it. This will however, be my last post on this topic just because this horse is dogmeat.

Curious as to what you mean by this? Surely, you aren't being prejudice against a poster just because of a forum title they have, or that the forum title has the letters P v P in it?

If you agree with the OP or not, its petty to just dismiss their feelings or concerns.

I would think that attacking a poster due to their forum name would fall under this.

The only way to really "farm" lvl 10 would be to use the arena which is very labor intensive. You would have to reset and such every 30 mins. The lowest zone to farm in is bloody bay which you can't enter till level 15.

I am just guessing but I would say almost (if not all) lvl 10 pvp ios were bought rather than recieved as a drop.

No one is going to buy a lvl 10 glad net acc/hold, so the only lvl 10s out there are the big 3: shield wall, glad armor, pan (it is possible some really really hardcore pvper has a few lvl 10 glad jav toxic procs).


Having said that- there are a few people (myself included) who have some odd low level pvp ios. I was just keeping them because it was funny to have a lvl 17 glad jav, however, with converters I could see people changing these into low level/high value pvp ios. I might see what I can make with some converters tonight when I get home. So you might start to see some odd level pvp ios pop up on the market here and there.

Yeah what you experienced is one of the reasons I haven't been that much of a fan of double xp weekends lately. You will sometimes find characters on your team that someone is just trying to "finish" which usually means they don't want to invest inf for enhancement.

As far as what you saw with rommy, where there any MMs on the team? He still runs from the pets, which sucks.

He also seems to run from "rain" types of powers which is why on my cold/ice I always try to lead with sleet for the knockdown.

I have seen him run around also if someone confuses him.

One final cause from him to run all over is if some has his aggro and is flying high, he will run around trying to find a high enough place to attack.

The "summoning" nictus will spawn those essences if it gets attacked (I've heard people say its getting hit with AoEs only, but I think if anyone attacks it with single target it will also spawn them).

So I would guess you had a lot of rain aoes firing which maybe lead to both him running arround and the numerous essences.

If you want to avoid the abushes that spawn pull him off the platform to the ground and fight him there.

Unfortunately, with my current work schedule and some rl events upcoming, I won't have time to participate in this event, I will however, help Bug with prizes and rules and such if he needs it.
