There seems to be some confusion switch (now Maestro) was never aimed at the younger generation and was in fact a direct competitor to what is now Visa debt (think it was called delta or something originally)
the aimed at the younger generation card was a solo card which was similar to switch card but had limitations placed on it
with my bank you could get a solo card about 14 i think and then when you turned 16 you could upgrade it to a full blown switch and i assume most other banks operated a similar system
the differences in Maestro uk card and Maestro other places cards probably stems from the fact they used to be separate cards but a while back they joined and became Maestro (there was a particularly annoying advert involving a penguin) -
you may want to give the change card option a go as stasis has suggested as its the card registered that's used for payments by default or at least it has been in my experience. Any time I've missed a payment due to my card expiring and me not noticing I've just went in changed my card and then activated my account again and its always worked so far.
If you don't have Maestro option in the change card section while others do (myself included as i just went and looked) i would definitely contact support once again and perhaps even point them in the direction of this thread as its clear for some of us at least Maestro is a valid option so there knowledge base is at least partially wrong and i wouldn't be surprised if the knowledge base is first point of call for first tier support. -
I really hope this is some kind of over site by PlayNC or some kind of bug in the system considering Maestro (or switch as it used to be called) is 1 of the 2 major (possibly only) debt cards available in the UK it seems silly to stop taking it.

well i for one would still use the other power's tho i tend to pick powers as much for concep as anythin else

i would imagin it probably is as the servers have only been upgraded the once (as far as i can remember)

the thing is dose the balance of a travel power really matter in the PvE game

Perhaps it could be coded in such a was that it started of at its current speed and got faster the longer you were flying in a straight line that way it would be useful for traveling great distances

i have a ss/invul brute as well cant say I've noticed that but i do tend towards the kill them first approach

Super Strength Rage no longer has an Only Affect Self period. Instead, it is given a huge damage reduction coupled with the inability to use Temporary Powers for 10 seconds as its crash effect. Be careful if using Rage while wearing a disguise, such as a Freakshow Disguise or the Holographic Projector, as this crash will disable those effects! -
ah well they changed it it now Nerf your damage but no longer has that nasty only affecting self bit so its not a instadeath sentence for the unwary invul/willpower tank

I was thinking that whats wrong with rage while tanking the only thing i can think of is that the OP missed the change to rage that means it no longer causes -Def when it drops. -
A great idea and i hope its implimented
the only suggestion i would make is that you mention that hero's and villains yous it to take on freelance missions so what about some contacts from other groups and even some non aligned types. I realise it would probably work more for villains but missions could be worded like tips when given to heroes or something. -
Nano machines could even be your mutant power or a result there of look at charichters like forge (mutant power to build stuff) its thanks to his power that he can make the weapons and bionics he dose no mutant power no weapons.

Um yes so if i read that corectly the developers like to make sets that give lots of bang for buck there for they make them as generic as possable but at the same time they introduce epics that restrict you in oragin and back story seems a bit flawed to me.
As i understand it Epics are Epics because they have a story that is linked to the history of CoH not because there power sets are limiting in how they can be implemented. by that logic AR and bow should definitely be a Epic sets as should Shields because they limit the explanation how your character dose what they do (tho particularly creative people often come up with some excellent non typical explanations)
I tend to think personally that the Devs do not in fact design there power sets with a aim to make them generic but instead do so with a aim to cover comic book archetypes (not tanks brutes defenders) to this end a implants/cybernetics/roboparts power set would be great in representing those part or fully robotic characters. yes you can make a robo character with the costume parts but i've yet to find a combination of power sets that full mesh with a generic robot type character. -
I actually fail to see why power sets need to be compleatly generic would it hurt to have some themed sets?
After all people seem to cope pretty well with things like bow, Assault riflr, Robots, Mercs, Zombies. -
it dose? Never new that and i've been playing dark based alts for a ages. Im not sure how -perseption works in pve it could have a small chance of confusing the target

yea i recon essence = soul in the case now weather that soul/essence is the same soul that religion is alkways going on about or just the sum of the energy held within the body thats up to the player

Booooo would much rather see somthing intresting for brutes in the next batch of proliferation we allready got Axe and Mace.

the problem as some have pointed out is that energy blast dose knock back and a mix of energy and smashing damage.
so its just not very "light" like but impplementing another blast set that was sutably diffrent from the curent one's to make it intresting is gona be dificult
If it was to be implemented I would go with Valkrysts sugestion of having it do a fire/energy Mix of damage (i don't think any set use that particular mix curently)
Secondery effect wise -Acc to represent your target being blinded by your attakes seem's the most ovious but that effect is allready carried by the dark based power sets so it seems a shame to duplicate so maybe -tohit
also im not sure how you would handel power animation without it either ending up very similar in look to energy blast or PB Blasts -

Are claws much quicker than Duel blades? they don't seem to be if anything them seem marginally slower -
yea your more than likely corect which is a shame MM could really do with a few more primery power sets.
Hell maybe well see some new form of MM emerge that dosent use the standared 3 2 1 pet layout perhaps a MM witha smaller in number but sronger pets would be a posability or a more horde type MM where summons are week and some what gineric (eg imps, zombies etc etc) but can be summoned quicker and in greater numbers. -
in other words no MM set is going to be easy to implement.
But they are/we're working on new sets Daemons were mentioned at one point as was something else but i cant remember what so would expect them to get some kind of new primary but there not gonna benefit as much from power-set purification as other ATs -
tho could one version could have slow resist and the other no slow resist in the same way that SS in PvE has stealth and in PvP it dose not?

No i think you'll find that a non disclosure agrement actualy specifies what you cant descuse so again your asuming the discusion of a costume creator is banned under the agrement
exept you cant know that for sure. Unless you were there, have seen the agrement or have been told what the agrement contains -
wasn't illusion mentioned for MM when the initial announcement about power prolification was made?
