think everyone was expecting to see a build there.....my bad
im going to try to use it as a blapper and having played it to 22 so far the damage output and knockback are excellent.

AS is a great filler i slot mine with 2 acc just to make sure i hit. with its great recharge you can often do for bosses without them gettin off a shot.....the biggest thing you have to worry about in later levels is end drainers and AS ties them up in knots!!

i felt the same about my inv/em tank. that all changed at lvl24..........respec'd with tough and weave. slot ur powers correctly and you wont give a damn about how much damage your putting out because all you will be doing is laughing about the stupid ammount of aggro you will be taking. i dont care what anyone says about inv....leave out res nrg and res ele you will still be one of the best alpha strike takers in the game without them.

the PB is now at lvl12 and i see what you mean about the shields. i only have the 1 at the moment and i keep forgetting to turn that on when i change to human form.
ive now 're-jigged' it taking your advice and it seems the way to go is to allow the human form to blossom much later than i really wanted. i guess theres too many powers and slots needed between lvl's 16-30 to excel in all 3 areas.
any more advice on the re-build greatly appreciated. (i know the fly slot in bright nove has to be moved to somewhere more useful)

Hi all
advice needed please. this is my first attempt at my tri-form PB. Before getting to 50 i had ideas (like most i suppose) that PB's and WS's were stupidly tough 'epic' creations. Since getting to 50 all my pre-conceptions have been shattered. if anything designing a PB has tought me how to be more 'thrifty' whilst slotting. what i want from a PB isn't much (just paragon city on a plate.....maybe i should be a villain) i want a blaster in squid form, a scrapper in human form and a tank in dwarf form. 'scoff' i hear you say....
this build covers it (i think). it has the AoE in squid, a dwarf that can take it and a human that can dish it.
Any words of advice (and the reasoning behind it) would greatly be appreciated.....thanks

let me start by thanking all who have replied. since I originally posted my build I had time to think about what to do. I have not used my defender since but am testing my ill/emp troller for the perfect medic role. shock...gasp some may say but some may agree. I cannot post my build at the mo as I am doing this at work on my PDA. my reasoning is that I have ALL the empath powers up to lvl24 and at mo only have blind, sup invisibility and phantom arwy. my lvl26 power will sp terror. the good thing I've found is that in a team of 8 I can release ph army and then concentrate on healing whilst remaining completely invisible. I will post my build 2morrow but as always....comments appreciated.

as this was literally just a team based empath i thought that the leadership pool, especially veng was the way to go. heres my thinking behind it. for me to use veng a team mate has died. quite often this is because an empath is struggling to keep up. if i cast veng the bonuses can mean the difference between victory and team wipeout.
i completely understand what you both mean about fortitude, its a gods power but for one person only. it honoustly will be the next choice at lvl26 but it was a toss-up between fortide, CM and veng. i still have not fully decided on the power selection at lvls 22/24. my other plan was to slot the heals with 3Heal, 1Recharge and 2EndRed instead of getting fitness pool just for stamina -
after fiding out that invisibility wont give me the lords protection i have decided to go ahead and respec my empath. i would appreciate any comments regarding the build or any alternatives i might choose. this is strictly a team based non PvP Empath hence the lack of attack powers which will arrive later

hi all
like so many empaths, i get narked off when getting blamed for not healing when fighting CoT or carnies. then you have to explain that you were held or zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. its always seemed oh so stupid why an empath is unable to cast CM on themselves or have a power that provides protection to it.im about to respec my lvl25 emp/elec and want to know if 'invisibility' is the answer. am i able to use invisibility and heal at the same time? it only says i cant 'attack' without becoming visible. does affecting team-mates count as an attack?

im currently sat at lvl39 and want to respec before i choose my epic pool at 41.please take the time to look at my proposed build up to lvl 40 and advise of any changes i might consider. please note that i intend to slot all toggles with 1 ENDRED and all attacks with 2 ACC, 3 DMG and 1 ENDRED. my main concern is that i drop the fighting pool in exchange for Resist Elements and Build Up. all opinions welcome

i'm designing a new toon and have decided to do a blapper. just looking for some advice about which sets to choose. i'm leaning towards an ice/ice combo as this seems to suit my playing style. area effect - ranged - close in for the kill. open to advice please....dont solo or pvp too much
