It truly is more difficult than it looks...even I have a lot of problems doing it successfully. You have to read a bit back to see if it's something you can draw folks into, and then have something to actually add to the discussion, in the attempt to make it look seamless. I used to be better at it

The trick is getting responses...to me, it's not really worth digging up if no one takes the time to say anything. Even better if you can get someone to respond without realizing that it's a necro thread (which is why you'll never see me make a big deal out of necroing a thread until someone else does. What can I say...sad though it makes me, it's an art
