The Lone Hero

I got two characters I like a lot currently. I like collecting art of my characters I play on various game and currently I have only one picture of a character from City of Heroes (Thanks LadyJudgement ^_^), so I would be very thankful towards anyone willing to draw one or both of my characters and I understand that there is no obligation for anyone to do it and it will take awhile even if someone does decide to do it. I'm fine with that, I just want to add more art to my collection.

You know....this thread confuses me. The other day I made a thread asking someone to draw a pic of one of my characters for Inf and the mods took it down.

Does this mean it's ok to ask for Inf in exchange for pictures but you can't offer Inf for pictures? If so...then isn't that a bit odd?

WTF....I LOVE buying comics and stuff from BnN. It's the only place that sells comics nearby. :/

True. To us, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers have always been the FIRST of the Power Ranger teams. However, in a few series they introduced something called the Ranger Matrix, which allows people to morph into Power Rangers. It's never been explained how LONG it's existed, however we can assume it's been some time since according to the intro to Power Rangers Samurai, people have been morphing since the Fuedal Era of Japan. We know it can be damaged, we also know that people can be reregistered (or unregistered) from the Matrix. Also, the Ranger world is shared by the Rangers, as proven by the various Cross Overs we've had and the Existence of Bulk in Samurai, his new 'sidekick, Spike, is actually the son of Skull....say waaaaat?

For those of you who don't know, I'm a Tokusatsu nut. I love shows like Ultraman, Godzilla, Power Rangers, Super Sentai and Kamen Rider. So, when Adness Entertainment brought America Kamen Rider, in the form of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, I loved it. The show was amazing, so amazing in fact that people in Japan got their own dubbed version of it and like it more than Kamen Rider Ryuuki, the series Dragon Knight is based off of.

However, the CW4Kids (now called Toonzai) dropped the series before it's final two episodes could be aired. They had expected to have the success of Power Rangers right off the bat and it simply didn't happen. Steve Wang, the producer of Dragon Knight, mentioned that Adness had planned a Second Season of Dragon Knight, as well as a movie, but dropped the plans so Adness could raise money to bring over another Heisei Era Kamen Rider series to the US.

However, it has been some time, Dragon Knight's 'final episode' aired December 26th, 2009, since this information was given to us. I am wondering if Adness is still planning to bring over another Kamen Rider, or if they dropped it.

If they did dropped it, who would you guys like to see bring over a Kamen Rider seires, and I swear if any of you mention Saban I will need a very good explaination why. YES, Saban did pretty good with Power Rangers, but the last time he brought a Kamen Rider series to the US, it was a monstrosity known as Masked Rider.

Also, if Adness or another group DOES bring it over, what Hesei Era series, for those who watch Kamen Rider, would you like to see brought over next? Personally, I'd like to see Adness get to bring over Kamen Rider Kabut, Den-O, Kiva or W.

Zombie, I was talking about the whole rangers we've never had in America thing, not the series itself.

Besides, Saban has the series again so we don't have to worry about Disney killing it. Only series I liked under Disney was RPM, it was a lot more darker and serious than it's Japanese counterpart and I liked it more, which is rare since I tend to like the Japanese counterpart of PR more than PR.

As we know, well...those of us that care about this sort of thing, Saban got the rights to Power Rangers, which is made using footage from the Super Sentai series. Currently, we are on the Shinkenger Series, which the American 'remake' calls Power Rangers Samurai....seriously? Samurai? ._. ANYWAY....

Next we'll get Goseiger, which are Angeled themed. I like how Saban kept to the story of Shinkenger, somewhat, in Samurai so I'm excited to see how he handles Goseiger.

HOWEVER!

After Goseiger is Gokaiger. Pirate Themed, which is awesome...however this is where the issue comes up. Gokaiger has their team using the powers of all the previous taskforces. Since this brings in heroes that Power Rangers never had, I wonder how Saban is going to handle this series. It's a good serious, mainly because of this guy:

So I want to see what Saban does with the series. However, I am worried that he may choose to skip this series instead of trying to explain the existence of Rangers the US never saw before.

True, weapon would be fitting. I still lack a name and concept though, the main issue I'm having is that I DO have the Sinister Set (which has a spider theme) but I lack the Arachnos emblem and can't seem to find it on the Paragon Shop. :/

Would be nice to see City of Heroes expanded more beyond the gaming world. Wasn't there rumors of a City of Heroes movie awhile back? Also, as I'm a TCG fan I'd like to see a CoH trading card game made by the people behind the VS system TCGs from Upper Deck, never got into the one that was officially released.

So, I'm playing Rider Beta in the Twinshot missions. Flambeaux is now officially the most annoying Hero NPC I've met. ._.

Alright, so I logged onto Virtue and noticed that my characters are uneven. I have two villains and three heroes. So, I was thinking....what better villain to make than an Arachnos Fanboy?

So, what do I need assistance with? Well, while I have a background for him but I lack a name and costume concept. Originally I was going to make him an Arachnos Soldier but then I thought it would be to predictable, so now I need to come up with a new Archetype for him as well.

Background:
The character loved reading comic books as he grew up. He enjoyed the villains and how they seemed to get what they want. When his family moved to the Rogue Isles due to his father being reassigned, the character eventually found new entertainment in the battles that Arachnos seemed to have all the time on Mercy with the other factions there. When Longbow began appear on the island, his family moved back to Paragon but the character was to excited about Arachnos. He began to buy posters and merchandize featuring the Arachnos symbol and he even made his own action figures of Captain Mako, Lord Recluse, Ghost Widow and the other major villains within the organization. When the meteors began to strike Galaxy City, which is the part of Paragon that the character's family moved to, the character decided now would be the perfect time to join the organization. He quickly threw together a costume and went to make his debut.

Where did the wallpapers section on the website go? I can't find it. D: Same for the free comic PDFs that were up there before as well. I leave for awhile and my two favorite things about the website are suddenly gone. D:

After roughly a year of being gone from City of Heroes, or longer...can't remember, left a week or so after Going Rogue went live, I've returned. I left due to money issues, which have been dealt with. For awhile I was playing on Champions Online. Enjoyed it, but it got old fast. Decided to come back to City of Heroes and noticed my Mastermind was locked (if anyone can explain why that happened, I'd love to hear it). Was glad to see that my Arachnos Soldier was still available though, that made me happy. Anyway, upgraded to VIP when I noticed it included the Going Rogue content as well as the regular content, also I wanted my Mastermind back.

Anyway, my characters are:
Rider Beta (lvl 3 Tank) A remake of Rider 00.
Darkenedmoon (lvl 3 Warshade) My first Hero Epic.
Nathaniel Rapture (lvl 5 Arachnos Soldier) I like this class. XD
Talkarat (lvl 20 Mastermind) The only one of my original characters I didn't delete.

I'm looking to experience some of the new content.

I still have 6 days of game time left. If all goes as planned, I'll be back in time for the Christmas Events. ^_^ I just hope Tokusatsu Hero Force wont die without me around to run it...not that it isn't dead already. Hard to find people who RP characters that can be mistaken for Power Rangers >_<;

I normally do nothing but soloing and got my Arachnos Soldier (Adrian Smith) to Lv.25 in one day. It's a fairly simple task.
