What I do miss about this show is the clever writing. This episode (and the aforementioned Brian and Stewie episode) shows they can still do it. Other things I miss is how Peter and the family used to give a damn about Meg. I loathe the way she is treated in season's past.

Great episode!! I saw it last night and I kept thinking it was going to be the monkey. Either him or one of the other characters they killed off. Though they do have a good habit of keeping characters dead they are dead. I don't think we have seen the last of the killer though. They did not show a body when they died.
The last line was brilliant btw. I just hope it signals a returns to his roots for said character. I miss that part of the show from the early years. -
1. The Infinity Gauntlet I just enjoyed this one better.
2. Crisis on Infinite Earths is a classic for a reason. Y's just does not appeal to me.
3. Demon in a Bottle I like the hard good bye better but DIAB is a better storyline.
4. Action Comics #775 - "What's So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way?" I always hated the DP saga.
5. Death: The High Cost of Living I know I have a thing for short hairy men but Death is a better story over all.
6. The Killing Joke it is a classic for a reason.
7. The Great Darkness Saga I know voting against my own pick here and while I fully believe in the merits of KA's story and world. GDS is an even more amazing story.

The Ting Tings have been my 3 year olds favourite band for over a year now, and we still haven't managed to catch the Yo Gabba Gabba with them on it yet in the mornings. -

Whoa Whoa Whoa...first of all...I don't think you can attack Madden like that.
It is way more than a roster update.
Madden is one of EA sports biggest sellers...so to even put madden in the category of "sequels" ruining gaming is wrong from the start...which invalidates your point to begin with.
My point is this: I can see gamers being upset that their favorite gaming company is putting time and resources into a sequel that FLOPS...because that time and resources could have been spent on a brand new game.
However, in Maddens case...I think there is no problem with EA putting their time and resources into making a new madden every year...because so many people buy and enjoy that product...every single year it comes out. -

jeebus I foresee a lot of coin flips for me in this one. There are simply to many good choices. I think this is the first draft I have seen without any throw away picks.

The new Batman Beyond mini series is shaping up to be a good read so far. Scott Pilgrim is also a fun ride as well.
