Hi Tago,
I have a simliar vintage MacBook Pro. Do you have 2 graphics cards? I usually run COH on the better of the 2. I find I can run for hours without worrying about crashing, with one caveat --> /reloadgfx. I have it bound to the tilde key and hit it everyonce in a while. Macs use memory differently than PCs, so it just fills and fills till it dumps.
Also, I don't have Lion, so I don't know if it's causing problems.
Oh, and if you read the issues section for PCs, there are people over there having problems with crashes and freezes, particularily in the graphics intensive moments. So I get the feeling it's not something special to Macs. -

Oh, I experienced this too. It was weird. But I backed out, ran the "repair" function in the launcher, and everything seemed fine after that.
I run the repair thing a lot. I guess it makes a diff pschologically, if nothing else... -
I am 110% on board, in total agreement, starting to cry because now I know I'm not the only one frustrated with this!

I've had the same problem. It's not consistent, and I haven't narrowed any commonalities between each incident. I've taken to saving costumes a lot now, because I can never remember what faces I use.

I was curious, how old is your Mac? My MacBook Pro is approaching 4, and it runs everything including the game fine. Will probably upgrade to Lion sooner or later. Your Mac must be a bit older than that. I think that's awesome you can still run the game. I have a PC that's 8 years old, and I laugh at the idea of running COH on it. Just saying...

Redside seemed fairly busy the few times I've been able to play. I don't have a toon leveled up very far there yet though, so I haven't tried teaming up or forming strike forces. Maybe it just needs more time to mature.
Honestly, I'd hate to be a brand new player in the new "extended training" version on redside. It seems rather chaotic and possibly difficult to navigate. But maybe that's just me...

Hi, I just purchased the animal pack and took one of my characters to a tailor to give her a makeover. In the tailor window, I'm getting the right colors (cheetah style), but when I'm done with the tailor, she's purple, except for her ears and tail. I go back into the tailor the colors are right. I back out to character select, the colors are right, but in play, purple. Anyone else having a problem? Any fixes?

Funny thing is that I almost had to go out of my way -not- to get one of the free codes they've been handing out since last Friday. It's cool they are willing to toss out free codes to promote the new pack, but it's been weird for me to have to wait LONGER to get it just because I want to PAY for it. Somehow that seems totally backwards to me.
