I'd kill for the "final boss fight" of a Strike/Task Force to be a team of 5 different Boss or Elite Boss level villains/heroes that have witty dialogue, as well as complimentary powers and fighting tactics, instead of just a giant bag of HPs with the ability to one-shot squishies (AVs/Heroes).

I sooo agree on that, I'd love a situation like that. In fact, I've always though personally that it'd be a good endgame content ala hamidon to have to fight all the Praetorians at the same time, with them using powers to complement each other.
  2. What I'd like to see is only being able to use 1 of each boss, 2 of each ltd and 3 of each minion.

That's way you'd only be able to use one Archmage, Longbow Warden, Caliban, etc but still be able to make a team of only bosses if you wanted.
  3. One of the reasons CoH probably isn't selling well at stores is because most new people come in through free trial key's and in those cases Cryptic offers a download of the game. Ergo those players have no need for going out to a store and buy the game.
  4. So slotting Taunt enhancements doesn't really do anything then?
  5. I rolled a EM/EA Brute and noticed that you can slot Taunt enhancements in EM powers.

Do those enhancements actually do something or is it a residue from porting the powerset from Tankers (Since Brutes don't have Punchvoke)

    >Pick Nose

You carefully insert the lockpick up your nose.

Congrats! Your nose is now open!

    I always got

    >pick nose

You slip and drive the lockpick into your brain, killing yourself.

    GAME OVER

I think there's two important "halves" to a good TF - the storyline and the gameplay.

Sure, destroying the three different robot factories trying to make copies of Bastion...er, Citadel, makes sense from a storyline perspective, the gameplay suffers by being repetitive.

    [/ QUOTE ]

This is actually a very good point. That Council base can get really repetative, and in that example there's really nothing to distinguish the fact that you're supposed to be taking out council robot factories as opposed to just any other base. But if you were to, say, change the tileset for those missions from the council base to the robot factory tileset in the Ernesto Hess TF it'd improve the atmoshpere in the TF a lot.

And also, for the Council, the specialized Council warehouse tileset from the first Natural missions would do well to be used more in later Council missions.
