SB is a nice power yes but i dont expect to be thanked every time i throw it out. I try and keep the main melee toon SB'd and throw it out when i get chance on the other members of the team but when you're throwing out cages and FS sometimes it gets a bit hectic. If someone asks for it i hit em with it at the first available opportunity. If i get thanked thats cool but i dont NEED thanks for doing what my toon is built for.
Only one thing about sb i don't like too much is when you get people who keep saying "sbsbsbsbsbsbsbsbsbsbsbsb" in the chat window and then rant at how slow i am in hitting em with it. If im in the middle of locking down and FS'ing a mob would you rather wait the 10 secs so i could finish the manoeuvre and THEN sb you or switch targets and lose out on the nice large FS amount youd get? One guy even kicked me from his team because i didn't sb him within 5 secs of his asking (he was the other side of the room in scrapperlock at the time)
guess what im trying to say is it's a power like any other, use it when you can or when your asked and don't expect a ty all the time. TY for a sb is a bonus but i prefer getting a good job to the entire team when the mish is done

ive got a lvl 10 spines/regen that im in the middle of doing hollows stuff on, could join with that if youd take me

im out all morning or id come help, remember also that maintenance is due at 12noon BST today so maybe wait til after that or for the weekend if you don't get enough people? I've always had better luck getting people for the SSTF's on a weekend. But either way Good Luck

remember also that the game is heavily instanced so you prolly wont see a lot of people just running about, do a /search and look for people on there too

Remember when AE was fresh and new, when all the newbies went into AE and got from 1- 50 in a day or 2? Well there was 1 guy i saw in atlas (lvl 50 all AE badges no vets) broadcasting over and over "how do i get to kings row?" when he was told use the yellow line train station.... "wheres the train station?". I didn't know whether to laugh, cry or just put my head through the wall because soon after that i saw at least 4 other people asking the same and they were high lvl too...

one very good thing about RoF if you participate in mother ship raids is that you can whack it down in the middle of the fighting and it guarantees that when the mobs die you and your team also get the added bonus of more merits. Also good if your hunting down low level enemies for defeat badges cause you can hit em with a fireball, drop RoF and move to next mob and be certain all the previous mob has been wiped out

He didn't mention anything in his OP, so I assumed he, specifically, and not everyone from the UK, was playing on US. I mean, it wouldn't make sense to ask "what are the current population numbers ?" without specifying "on EU servers", as most people who are going to reply play on US servers. hell even the devs do sometimes

About population - I notice you listed UK as your location, so if you play at EU hours, most servers are very quiet until late evenings ; in my experience during the few last weeks, less than 150 people on either side showing up on /search, and that's over 50 levels with a fair share of them being either very low levels or level 50s, with not much in between.
This doesn't mean you can't get a team going, especially if you go out of your way and start doing stuff like global channels or forums, but for quick and painless PuGing I enjoy Freedom and Virtue more (these two servers have the highest population numbers by far during EU hours, usually 2 to 3x as much people as on any other server). -
3 very good channels to join is Sals Badgehunters, Union Taskforce and Union Chat. Sals is mainly for badge related stuff though we do run a lot of TF/SFs, Union Taskforce is mainly TF/SFs and things like mothership raids and Union Chat is anything and everything people wana chat about.
To join a channel right click in the chat window, scroll down to 'join channel', a box will appear allowing you to enter the channel name. Once entered, right click in the chat window again and scroll down to 'edit tab'. A new window opens with all the current traffic assigned to that chat box. Find the chat channel you just joined on the right hand side, highlight it, click add, click ok. You should now be able to see that channels traffic in your window too.

I'm still waiting on Star to send me a tell about my idea for a VG so things like TPs would be available for you all eventually.
Also thinking about things i could possibly join up with a MM too, obviously depending on times/days. If i do it'd be either a demon/dark or necro/dark. -

I have 3 passions, reading, making stuff on photoshop and obviously CoX. If i can combine those 3 i'm a very happy person so reading stuff about ppls toons is a good thing for me. Semi wish i'd started CoX on the US servers but until they merge the 2 sides i'll just have to be content with all these stories

Well, since you enjoy Sooner's work enough to reall *all* of it in one day, it would be remiss of me not to mention that there are a couple other writers among our group.
If it's to be believed by anyone i actually read Eragon and the 2 sequels in 4 days :S I LOVE reading and yes i've been told i'm bloody fast but its how i've been since a kid ^^ -
hehe i am, plus it helps im not sleeping very much atm (2 hours last night) so yeah, gave me something to do while listening to my partner snore his head off upstairs. Think it was 6 or 7 threads i had open at one point rofl

Found this thread in my travels yesterday and took the time to sit and read what's been posted so far. I am finding this a very enjoyable read and can't wait for more. I've also read the other stories which have been linked in this thread and found them to be just as good. Keep up the good work Sooner and the rest of you too. Might attempt to write a story myself again if I can get rid of this writers block I keep getting hit with, but in the meantime I'll be sitting here in anticipation for the next chapter

My widow's called Arbiter Draconis, my crab's called Arbiter Green Lotus and i know my partner's bane is called Arbiter Ghost. He's got the look of the arbiters near enough spot on and he hangs about in mercy giving the newbs help or just to look cool XD, he's had some pretty nice comments from people over his suit

First ever toon a fire/fire tank, i used to duo with a friend at the time but whenever he wasn't online I'd solo.....the first ever team I got without my friend and I was asked to tank. That was the worst idea in history, I didn't have taunt, didn't have half the toggles slotted and i died in about 3 seconds, the BLAPPER lasted longer than me
2nd story, I re rolled the fire tank about 3 months ago into a fire/fire blaster, moved the tank to defiant as i hardly used her cause I really didn't get on with how it played. Got the blaster to 50 and slotted and decided id join a MOitf. Now comes the best part... I forgot completely I had re rolled cause I used same cossies, name everything from my tank.... Obviously the MO attempt failed but the team had a good laugh at my reasoning behind running in and we restarted seeing as it was only the first mob.
