There is more than one way to look at this; it is a Champion-only event for the most part (even if a regular from Liberty makes a toon for it they are playing on Champion for the event.) And there are probably more than a few groups/events that have a similar history who deserve as much recognition.

However, it is up to each of those groups to seek whatever recognition they feel they deserve- all have an equal opportunity to seek it out at the very least.

And, really, a small plaque does very little to alter the landscape. It isn't something that would be required for the history badges, nor would it be the only one not required for a badge. I'd bet that a lot of people don't even notice most of the city plaques, they are small and this isn't a heavy traffic area. Basically- it wouldn't harm anything to have a tiny detail like this added.

Now you need an alibi. I could provide one for a fee.

I say... we knock over a few banks and use the cash for a party (the good bacon ain't cheap unless we steal that too.)

The reason why you keep getting cut off from the internet and don't have full access is because you are probably in the "Quarantine" segment of the network, because your computer isn't patched up to the minimum level set by the Admins on the Cisco Server. The "Quarantine" area allows minimal access to the network and internet, and it keeps all traffic and usage of your PC "under the microscope" as not to infect or allow infection of/from other PCs in the network.

If you can't get, or can't find any patches on the Office Online patch scanner, call the IT Department and tell them to look up your PC on the server and see what patch level you currently are flagged at. If it's just asking for a patch, you didn't do anything wrong, and you don't have to worry about the Admins smacking you down or anything. They should be helpful.
Net and Server Admins only normally get testy when you try things on thier network that they specifically block. You are TRYING to comply to thier standards, so they should be willing to help.

I've run all of the find update things, and none have given me any options for updating. Of course, I don't actually use Office so I didn't expect them to find an update.

I think it's an error on the part of the Uni- and I've left messages, but am in class again until 5 now, so can only get a response through email. I think there is a problem with the authentication provider- usually I get a drop down list of two or three options, and use the same one each time. Now I get one option and it isn't a familiar one. I get the regular list on my laptop, however.

Yep. I just have the program to access the internet through the University system. And it keeps telling me I need an update of a Microsoft program (but not which one), and then Microsoft tells me that there are no updates for my computer. Viscious circle that is only serving to annoy me.

I did, however, manage to get my laptop connected this morning, so I can use that tonight if necessary.

Anyone know anything about Cisco Clean Access Agent? It's what my Uni uses to let us connect to the internet, and today it's been giving me grief- I can connect to the internet for two hour windows, but not to the CoH log-in server at all. If I can't get this fixed by tomorrow evening I'm not gonna be able to join the weekly fun.

Were there sorority girls? Cause I wrote one about those...

I'll have to try the birthday mish out too. But I expect cake that isn't a lie in return.

Yeah... I'm not stuffing money in that. Does rezzing the team count as paying my share? It was pretty awesome when we were fighting Valz in a sewer two weeks ago and I managed to rez most of the team when we nearly wiped.

I should be there tonight: I've been getting over a sinus headache/cold but *gasp* the Uni just announced it would be closed due to weather today. So I might have a chance to recover a bit before tonight.

I'm still trying to figure out how we could stuff money anywhere when granite is on... Don't they act as a shield to your pants? Or maybe they hide that you are really naked under all that rock?

I'll be missing next weeks session- I've got spring break so I am hoping to take a whole week away from the game. *gasp* I get to go shopping and to movies instead, lol.

Would it be sexist to point out that these were guys who probably have only used ovens in the dorms, and that these particular guys seem like morons anyway? I did have to spend about ten minutes in the tunnels with them while we were waiting for the firefighters.

Sadly, it is the same reason that the all-male dorm had its first fire alarm last September. (pizza in the kitchenette and inability to cook)

I'm looking for the name Euterpe. I've got that name on Protector, and wanted to transfer the toon (lvl 50 Corr) to Champion, but it's already taken here.

I think it's going to be about our fire alarm... remember last week before we started I had to run because the alarm was set off? Well, it happened again Saturday night around midnight. Thankfully it was double xp weekend so I was still up and playing CoH, lol. It was a real alarm though due to some of the guys in the building and their inability to figure out the mystery of the baking sheet's use for frozen pizza.

I just signed up for my spring classes and got stuck with a Mon/Wed 6-7:40 Alg/Trig course and on a good night takes me an hour to get home, so looking at getting on btwn 8:45ish close to 9pm. On reg nights it should be fine but on SF nights I will make arrangements to have my acct on to join team and then help to complete when I get home. Let me know if this works for you all.

Spring term as in starting now or in future months?

I don't get to sign up for classes until next year (all 1L classes are mandatory where I am.) They messed with me this semester though- M/W classes go from 11-5, and then Tu/Th starts at 8AM. Joy. Long day of classes, then lots of reading, then early morning.
