An empath remember is not a healer. Is a dual faced set with a natural progression of healer with the necessity of a switch at level 25 to a buffer. The empathy set is the only set that is so dual faced with no clear focus across all levels. As the levels increase there is a natural need for shifting the focus of the Empathy set by changing slotting and powers focus. Thats what makes empathy set so much more diverse.

Hmmmm apologies for that statement there since as an organizer i should have stayed with the "make peace" stance rather than try to throw oil in fire. So can the people that actually want to blow up this party simply settle for a glass of champagne (no poison included )

This event point is to allow CoV side players join in some community events that Heroes enjoy such as PDP's etc. And the whole Christmas spirit mood is based on that. Keeping a cease fire attitude for a few hours is not such big of a deal since PvP is ongoing everyday and the PvPers can be found daily in the zones. You dont really need an event to find them there. So basically try to avoid any event griefing that the community will anyway condemn as its been proved in the past and simply wear your fun attitude and join in and enjoy. Apologies if i came across a bit harsh but when someone tries to ruin an event you work hard for and involves large amount of people and effort then it can get very frustrating.

Who will bring the champagne? Erm i think i can get some chaviar at one of Talos island little stores with some exquisite Russian Beluga. I think Obot can bring some champagne from Rogue isles

Ok just so you know. You are gonna die a lot for the following reasons

1)you are obviously a noob
2)the amount of villains in there will big enough to multigank you
3)No hero except your friends that will be dying a lot will help you

Now furthermore since i am organising this event and since i will spot you when you start hostilities you might as well kill anyone you feel like but what is going to happen to your SG base and the members of your SG spotted inside PvP zones after that is something i am sure you wont like . You not want all hero population bashing your base for fun after you go down this way . And in case you do i am sure your fellow SG mates will not want. Now be a nice boy and come and chill out or otherwise live with the consequences .

The event is not connected to PvP and thats why it will be carried out at a spot away from bases and mobs. So consider this a warning. If you as much try to harass or disrupt the event then as its been said you know what follows.

If you feel like going up the best PvPers how about stop being a coward and simply issue a challenge and we come and kill you any time of the day.

You havent gone wrong in picking. However...the empathy set has the unique ability to make bad teams bareable and good teams ultra killing machines. At hardcore situations post ED with invincible missions and 8 people teams the empath will be the one that will keep things going. The storm set is a very tricky set to play as a primary mainly because u need to understand your role really well. You are a debuffer with lots of slows in there. However you cannot cause the havoc in terms of debuffing that a Rad would create. The storm set is insanely awsome fun to play and you will really enjoy it however you need a good combo of team that comprehends how it works. Experienced players will truly appreciate it and new players will curse you for it. As you progress with it you will get better and better. Small advice dont use hurrican often on big groups cause you are aggro magnet with it. Also another small thingy...Storm is godlike in PVP

I've not played a controller much, so I may be completely wrong here. Wouldn't it be better to slot your holds with two recharge reductions and four hold durations? Or maybe even three of each? Your holds might not last as long, but you can fire off significantly more of them.

no because the amount of AM's and Speed Boosts stacked caps the recharge times.

although DM is a good set go for spines cause simply u can excel in PvP and especially at zones like SC, Warburg and the higher one later on. If u need advice for the spines i think Chives is the person to talk to

I kill everyting I can get my hands on. Simple as that. In all the PvP zones there is a reason to kill on sight. If they are doing missions I feel it is my duty to stop them. If they are going for the hotspots in sirens its my duty to stop them. If they are going for the missiles in Warburg it is my duty to stop them. And so on.

Well you got a better response than I did Pyra. I got one person hurling abuse at me as I edited my chat tab the other night, after pointing out it was troll feeding and I was sod isgusted I was disabling the channel. I have disabled arena from my chat tabs on all characters that I have logged onto.

I was on earlier and even spoke when there was a discussion about bugs which seemed worth reading but after that I spotted a conversation about to go south and off arena chat went. On all my characters I log in I will likely disable this channel. Its clear to me this will be a regular occurance. As LN says I shouldnt have to but life isnt fair. Right now the cons outweigh the pros.

Regarding the Arena chat i took some time to politely chat about it with a GM although i bugged her a lot about it. The response was that they are aware of the whole situation and they have received a ton of petitions for it. It will not be tolerated and apparently the more the petitions the more the importance this matter will take. So a kind request to all when u spot situations like that on the arena chat take sometime and send a petition. It might see nothing but if everyone that cares enough does it it will make a difference in it. We can do our part so the support can do their part. Goin in trouble for 1 petition might take time due to work overload etc. However 50 petitions for the same person immediately might give a high priority to situations like that. Thanks to GM_Amber for taking some time to give a small answer to some of the questions. Restored my faith at least in support. With all the mess last night with the instability and problems in all servers she still took the time to discuss this with me and all my persistent questions.

G is always fun to team with, something I have been doing on and off since the game went live, so he is possibly one of the people I have known the longest in COH. I met him as a newbie level eight G-Zeus in a Frostfire mission while I was playing my first toon Dimension, if I remember correctly.

He punctuates his game with pit stops for ****, tipples and tea, is a great player, an all round nice person, always willing to help and give advice, well liked and respected by all, but most importantly a good mate in the game.

G-Bomb was made to look like his ideal woman, a six foot Swedish Blonde babe, with very little on, so you can see the mentality of the person in question.

It's has been an honour teaming with you mate.

The support lately seems to be getting really lazy and blinded by garbage language on public channels. If they are on a "maximize the subs" policy then this is the end of this community that once was warm and welcoming for the players. Now the new players all they see is a bunch of n00bs cause thats what they are completing who is more of a cretine. Any further lack of action from support to preserve this community will mean the start of a slow death for this place. I will keep using petition and i will keep giving them the occasional yell in arena cause they think noone cares. And they are wrong. Just because people ot speak up it dont mean they not care

Hmmmm i agree with Jackie unfortunately there is a problem. The whole thing has 2 sides one is the same single person delivering the abuse first and then is the other person who recieves the abuse but also delivers it. Every night uppon log on they get it rolling. And its not possible to let all this go by without saying a word seeing a bunch of people like this ruining the fun and the spirit of everyone. I have sent a ton of petitions and unfortunately it seems that saying openly you will peitition is being mocked at. Me personally i cannot hold myself since i am quite vocal in good and bad situations and apologies for the use "noob" last night however the person that i referred deserved it depsite the fact i refrain from using that word.

And this is not baiting what goes on is simply some people taking their complex and their anger on a public channel which is improper.

for what for arena???hmmm i think that since the PvP zone launch we spend our time in PvP zones. The regular size daily in PvP zones varies form 15-20 people inside SC which seems to be most popular zone cause of the relative good amount of powers u get and the distinction between Hero vs Villain. On some good days we can get more than 20 like when we announce the intention of claiming control of the zone that happen last sunday where more than 20 people turn up.
