Well said. If the devs had given Katie say a random roll and 0 merits and Dr. Q a random roll and 50-60 merits, the system would be much less likely to cause a disruption while still giving those people who want to avoid the market another option.

agreed. Respec'd out of it awhile ago. damage was... meh and the end drain stinks. I went with a controller type build for my dark/ele and have been very happy, but I am very team dependant.

I have heard that ED and a post-ED patch really gutted Short Circuit; then someone told me it was buffed a little recently, and is pretty decent in PvE for End-Drain.

So my question would be: Did you have 3 end-mods in it before respecing out of it (and it was still not a great power)?
