Did I miss anyone? -
I didn't say that it was a Master run, but we can see if the group wants to do a MoLRSF run, sure.
-
Greetings, fellow Justice folks.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery ... or something like that, so in the same vein of the Saturday Matinée, I was hoping I could inveigle some of my fellow smart, courageous and downright sexy Justice-ites into doing a Sunday Matinée as well.
So on this Sunday, June 27, 2009, at 1:00 pm US/Eastern time, I would like to form a Lord Recluse Strike Force. If you would like to do this strike force, please let me know by replying to this message so a spot can be reserved for you; also, please provide the name and archetype of the toon you'd like to bring.

You mean ... like this?
Edit: Aww, someone reported it to the hosting service as a violation of ToS. Whoever you are, you're a complete (censored). -
So, I don't have an iPhone 3G, but I have an iPod Touch. I tried several times yesterday to upgrade, but finally, late last night before the severe thunderstorms knocked out my Intarwebz, I was able to buy & download iPhone OS 3 for my iPod Touch.
Can't decide whether you should buy an Apple iPhone 3GS or another phone? This might help. -
I have used a very detailed image analysis and have come to the following conclusion.
I am ready to state at this time with 99.999999995% (+/-
0.000000004% margin of error) certainty that the object in the avatar's mouth region is a pacifier. -
Congratulations, pohsyb and Mrs. pohsyb.

Well, unless, of course, she's into that sort of thing. (clicks tongue & winks) If you know what I mean. -
I wrote a lot of quests for a MUD I played/wrote/developed/etc. many moons ago.
The Special Item is in the style of a game made by those folks over at Activision Blizzard. -
For BackAlleyBrawler:
(As you reach the outskirts of Justice Harbor, you see the old man who gave you the quest. He hangs onto his walking staff for dear life as he walks towards you. When he recognizes you, he approaches and speaks ....)
"It truly is an honor to see you back, my friend, the adventurer. Oh! What's this I see you brought me? A scroll from the far reaches of Guardian Valley?
"This scroll bears proof of your efforts and success in your quest to Thread Jack. For successfully completing this most heroic quest, I have a Special Item for you. It's not much, but you'll surely get to use it in your future endeavors."
(You try to politely and graciously turn down the item he offers you, but he insists. Finally, seeming almost a little bitter that you would refuse his offering, he musters up as much strength as he can, gets up on his tip-toes, takes off your head covering and thrusts the item onto your head. Content now, he hands you the helm or head covering you had on and he continues ...)
"It's not much, I know, but you've done so much.
"I must gather my party and continue our journey. I hope to make my way north. I believe our paths will cross again ... perhaps in the Valley of Madness between Mount Virtue and Mount Freedom in the Role Player Realm? Farewell and good luck, my friend." -
Copied from in-game Chat:
[Tell] -->@Mermoine: Why have you and Ele never posed for me like that? (re: Philly's pictures)
[Tell]@Mermoine: Any time, baby. All you need to do is ask!
Okay, may that wasn't her real reply. I was fantasizing again. -
It all depends on how you define "celebrity."
If I were to define it as people with whom I've played and the experience was memorable (good or bad), it would be one list; if it was to be defined as most notables (just hanging out or seem to play whatever whenever), it would be another list.
In no particular order: LivingHellfire, MissInformed, LaserJudas, LaserJesus, Police Drone X9, Philly Girl, TicToc, Abraxxus, Katfood, Thor's Assassin, Fanny, Kadmon, Quatermain, Goober, Arwen Darkblade, Doug The Troll, Hard Rock One, Blu J/Blue Science, Darkbridger, Jala, Talia Rayvyn, Kensei, Manoa, MikeHoncho.
Most notables seen playing on Justice: BackAlleyBrawler (as himself?) tanking a Babbage GM (in Skyway City) for a group doing the Synapse Task Force. (He wasn't doing the Task Force, just tanking the GM.) I just remember Speed Boosting him to TANK FASTER, BABs! =)
Folks whom I miss the most? MissInformed, Illusionism, BLACKFIRE, Capt Omega, FrostBites and Pragon.
Thank goodness I'm a nobody.
+4.0 Notoriety to BackAlleyBrawler
+0.01 Notoriety to everyone else mentioned in this message. -
Always a day late on these things.
I logged into Justice earlier today and noticed that from O-zone there was "Atlas Park 2." Yeah, methinks the first instance of Atlas Park got borked yesterday. If something like a zone-wide crash happens, /bug it and then also /petition it. In your /petition, you include something like "Just wanted Customer Service to know ZoneWhatever on ServerWhatever seems to be having stability issues." -
Uh-oh. Phillygirl and Mermoine have posted in this thread. You know what that means?
This thread has been locked. -

Uh, I have carebears...do they have sharp edges?
[/ QUOTE ]
Uhm, I don't think so. They might be able to Carebear Stare something ... but only to daze and confuse. I don't recall them ever being able to Stare something to death. If they can't stare something to death, they're useless as weapons; better to use them as a possible source of meat.
Or, or, or ... breed them as a continuing source of meat.
Carebear Baby Lunchables! -
Be sure to gather as much water and non-perishable food that you can find. Do you have any weapons you can use to hunt wild game for food? This "Doom" may be long-lasting.
(Think Red Dawn.) -
That's a lot of work.
I just do /levelup 50 and then go train ... over a period of several hours. -

Also, money's tight for me on Freedom. Do you take I.O.U.'s, Smurphy?
[/ QUOTE ]
I think it'd be funny if Smurph accepted indentured servitude in lieu of payment- labor in his farms until your drops pay off your debt.
[/ QUOTE ]
For a minute there, I thought indentured servitude was something graphic and explicit and not something I could post about ... until I looked it up. Sorry, the mind wanders.
Hrm. Dear Devs: New market object: Indentured Servant. -
This thread isn't about schooling folks in debate, it's about Smurphy's plans to better optimize his playing of this game through the means he's outlined in his posts in this thread.
I'm looking at my roster of toons and deciding which one needs to get the axe to the face. The level 35 Stalker I haven't seriously played in over two years, or ...
Also, money's tight for me on Freedom. Do you take I.O.U.'s, Smurphy? -
Well, actually, on my Stone Armor Tanker in Granite Armor with Power Boosted Bubbles and Power Boosted Fortitude, the Sunless Mire Nictus Essence (AV) wasn't hitting me. So,

To answer your question, Fanny: Who knows? They've been using more in-game shots for their City-related pages on their website.
