Hehe, excellent
Psygon's cutesy toons are catching on quick? -
Yo.
Wow, got a few mails... Gonna have to sort the order etc..
Kanto2, I really don't want to get paid. If I feel a deadline-like pressure, it becomes a chore to do and kills the fun. I want to have fun when I draw tbh.
Saphic, your mail made me laugh. Brilliant XD
Oh and I updated the [Wish you were here...] picture. Remade the background completely, made the capes lighter (in the sunlight) and added Catz's mask a second version.

I prefer Catz without the mask personally... -
Wow
thank you all very, very much for the comments!
Kanto2, I don't have a paypall account because I don't want to be paid for those drawings and I'm very irregular in supplying the demand. You can send screenies of your toon regardless at: swissy[at]droolings[dot]net and I'll see what I can do.
Needless to say, the sexier the toon, the quicker it'll be done -
Many thanks for the comments
Unfortunately, I realized I need to do much more work on this piece.
The background's depth of field is inexistent, my light sources are all over the shop and there is still lots of tweaking to be done here and there. I mean, look at the capes. Don't they look like the heaviest and thickest thing ever?
It's weird though, don't you ever get that feeling when going to bed late (3am) thinking it's done and realize the next day... Zomg NOWAI!!
So uhmm.. yeah. -
Catz and Sapphire Blade, in between 2 missions, being taken on camera in Atlas Park.

Re. Screen licker avatar:
When I realized it was from Glasswind and that he was being hassled about it, I changed my avatar.

Amazing! Really like it!
I took the liberty to add your site in my links page.
Hope you don't mind. Let me know if not. -

When you mention line quality is that where I maybe have darker lines when I need not to put so much pressure on or lighter or something else or both. Sorry I'm a real newb on technique and terminology.
[/ QUOTE ]
I was referring to the jagged, shy, sketchy and unsure pencil strokes that's displayed on the pic. Which is, by the way, absolutely normal if you're just having a stab at drawing.
But line quality also means, as you've stated, sturdier, stronger and more slender lines that have this little more assurance.
Now this doesn't necessarily mean that that you have to force feed the pencil on the paper either!
On a side note, what would be interesting, would be to print the Puma pic very lightly and get you to redraw over using the minimum amount of lines necessary. Just to see if you could have done the same picture using less jagged lines... -
And you should be proud!
Sure, there a few things that could use some improvements like line quality etc..
But it is clear you have a good sense of proportion in this portrait. Everything just fits properly and there are no ambiguities as to what the viewer is looking at.
Oh and if you are unsure about nose and mouths, just use references. Pictures or a mirror and you're rolling.
More practice and love from you, kthnx ^^ -
It's a funny vid
"Go easy, I'm squishy in this form!" made me laugh.
IM/The_Phantoms, regardless of what people say, I hope you had fun recording the vid.
"Your enjoyment is important to you" ^^ -
:O
Very nice and clean as usual!
Love the fireball.
More? Please? with meow on top. -
I stand corrected and therefore apologise for the misunderstanding.

You know, ...you can have all the technical skill in the world but if a piece of artwork doesn't have that spirit...
[/ QUOTE ]
Somehow I feel indirectly targeted by your comment ML.
While you are correct, some might say that passion and spirit for any type of art englobes those techniques.
Of course, to each their fun so it's up to you really.
To quote the general consensus over at the MT Art&Drawing forums, copy everything in this if you want to get here or here. -
What you have is movement. Throughout the slideshow, it is present and it works.
What you are missing, in my opinion, is perspective. Perspective also entails foreshortening like in the Faultline picture, Major's left arm/fist.
Having said that, his left leg is pretty spot on.
Good stuff Jenbot. Keep at it. -
Looking forward to this. Srsly. Counting on you!
-
Tout le monde se plaint, mais je n'ai encore rien reçu... Pourquoi je ne peux pas faire partie des gens cools moi aussi et être embêter comme tout le monde?
-
Pretty freaking awesome! Definitely a lot of work put into this.
Needs more motion capture though, cause that kick was really nice! -
Ou alors vous pourriez organiser un tournoi héros/vilains avec disons 2-4 pages par combat, façon collab ou perso...

No no no. I probably suck at it very much. All the work done in college was done in 3dsmax R3. Years ago. Haven't really touched it since.
Really want to give Zbrush a go though.

I take it the mask has a lot to do with it. -
Nice one!
I'm curious. What's the polycount on this scene?
Haven't touched 3DsMax since college. It does make me want to dive in it again except I wouldn't know where to start. -

I'd like to nominate EternalKnights for his CoH Orchestral Theme

I'd like to nominate Big_Lunk for the colouring on these pieces.
