If you start thinking of the hospitals as a safe area, then thats incorrect too. Not hard to tp someone out from there.

50 gets my vote too. I find the EPP's and PPP's cover a much needed gap in any AT.

I wasn't picking holes, I wasn't critisizing, I wasn't arguing. Just wanted to know the answer to a simple enough question.

I'd read what I asked again through non-biased eyes if I were you and you'll see its a very plain, very simple question that just requires a one sentence answer.

I don't think folk are getting it. I'm not asking if khelds are allowed. I'm not asking for the list to be changed. I am simply wondering what the criteria for chooing the AT list was. That is all I am asking.

Well, as mentioned, acro only gives mag 1 protection. If you combine that with a lvl 50 cont's AM protection, I believe it might give resistance to one controller hold.

Not all khelds can go dwarf though. I know mine now can't. I'm just not convinced that people understand the meaning of the word inherent.

I'm not sure how I would have worded it myself because I'm not sure what the criteria is exactly - which is all I'm trying to establish.

What about a def/cont with bubbles? Their mezz defence is in their primary/secondry set.

To me inherent means...existing in someone or something as a permanent and inseparable element, quality, or attribute: an inherent distrust of strangers. Right from dictionary.com

So I suppose that means the powers or abilities we start off with and have no choice if we get them or not. I suppose the inherent mezz protection of tanks, scrappers, etc, etc is an ability that just isn't listed in their icons.

Well, if thats true, we all get access to mez protection in the form of acrobatics. Although not great (mag 1) where do we draw the line. Also controllers and defenders can get access to protection and not every kheld has dwarf form.

Not that I'd stick one in this competition but what are khelds not allowed in?

As you have noted, I said a mob tp may or may not hasten this process. I haven't actually said that I do this myself.

I could have equally said that killing them in 'fair' combat may or may not hasten this process.

Now 2 things.

1. Can we have an example of a mob tp'ing that would violate the EULA please? As getting an exact set of rules from you is like getting blood out of a stone.

Maybe we could continue with examples or maybe you can tell us the criteria that you use. How about a nice flow chart?

2. Can you put a big story on the front page about mob tp'ing and how it is not griefing? Would save me, the GM and the players I do it to A LOT of time.

You read it correctly. I don't mind a bit of banter, but certain things rub me up the wrong way and certain people I would rather not have in the pvp zones if they are going to continue to act in that way.

Its a war zone people - anything goes. We all have different ideas of what sirens is for, bounty, fair fights, SO's, winning the zone control and I accept that people have the right to do what they want to meet any of those ends. Me? I purpose is to kill the other side by any means possible. Whether its helping a fellow hero even if not teamed, mob tp'ing, drone tp'ing or just plainly killing them myself.

So if I respect the right of others to use the zone for what they want, why do I get gyp for using the zone for what I want? Its a pvp zone - anything that doesn't break the eula goes.

Within the EULA, yes.

Just TPing someone into critters isn't against the EULA. Harrassment, abusive or innappropriate language and so on are.

and therein is the whole point, harrassment, abusive or innappropriate language is against the EULA and is entirely subjective to whoever is making judgements on it. It doesnt matter in the slightest whether you think you were guilty or not, if the GM reveiwing the incident does thats all that matters and there is nothing you can do about it.

The pvp zones are not a lawless land where anything goes and we are actually fortunate that the GMs DO act on the petitions that are sent.

As far as I can tell the vast majority go to the pvp zones to ahve fun, so we should all be having fun, pvping and not acting like a [censored] imho

If it is allowed in the zones and is not in breach of the EULA, I fail to see how it is baiting.

If that were true, then surely killing anyone by any means in the zone could be considered baiting if it upsets them.

And can we finally have something from a red name about whetehr mob tp is allowed? Assuming its not excessive and assuming its not done to grief can someone finally have the courage to stand up and say whether it is allowed or not? I am sick of explaining my point in broadcast.

Or is the excuse well, it depends on the circumstances going to be used again? If so, here are the circumsatnces. Villain enters zone. Hero enters zone. They both fly to hotspot. Villain tp's hero to the arachnos mob next to him. Villain holds hero with a web grenade. Arachnos hit hero until hero is dead!

If its not a breach of the EULA, then talking about it on here cannot be considered baiting. Just because a topic is a bit touchy with people, does not mean its baiting. Some people are touchy about others usings insps to beat other players. Doesn't mean they are right to be and doesn't mean anyone who talks about using insps is baiting.

And no, I don't mob tp to get people to swear. If you think that is what I said, please read it again.

Basically, I get a load of flak because no one from an official side will stand up and be counted when it comes to this issue because they are afraid to express a view that is unpopular.

I usually send about 5 petitions a wekk on average for swearing in the pvp zones. If someone is abusive to me I just wait for them to swear and petition them. A mob tp may or may not hasten this process.

So in summary...

Fire flies are going to have their fear and suffering removed.

From a humanitarian view, this can only be a good thing. well done dev's. I applaud your stance on supporting one of the smallest and most interesting insects we have.

The other char I wnated to enter was a level 30. Think me and stalk could have won with him and stalks controller but we will have to wait and see.
