  1. Also, these forums tend to move fairly slow (for what I'm used to at least). Some patience is required.

    I missed this thread.

Thorazine Shuffle would be Dual Pistols/Radiation Corruptor that's gone rogue due to the antipsychotics flowing into his/her system. Any costume with tubes and a crazy face would do.

    VGs?

I've recently started an animal-based villain group called the Wrecking Zoo that I'd love to get more members for. Unfortunately, with only three characters in it so far, the base is nothing more than two empty rooms.
  4. I agree Danny, the community in this game was the biggest thing I missed when I tried Champions. Now that I'm on Virtue, it's even better.
  5. Is this open to those already in a villain group?

My main villain has started his own group, with only three members (well two players, as two of the members are me, the other a close friend), and I was hoping that a possible coalition with a larger group would help me get started, while also providing people to team with in our common diabolical pursuits.

Bigger bodies make them more buoyant, also whales need the extra insulation as they (and walrus's, seals, etc.) frequently swim in very cold waters. They're not exactly fat either, as much of their bulk is muscle.

Hippopotami are herbivores, but they have been documented to eat meat recreationally.

Were they Fred collectively? I knew someone who had 3 cats each with distinctive names, but collectively they were all "Bob".
  8. Here's that screenshot of Martian Magician.

  9. Royalty might be gliding a bit close to the Mary Sue sun, but remember, a lot of superheroes and villains are royalty.

Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Black Bolt, Namor, Dr. Doom, Black Adam, etc.
  10. Had an awesome time, so many great costumes. I was shocked that I actually won this one (not that I'm complaining). I'll probably sit the next Tuesday one out since I don't have any catpeople, but I'm curious at how my main will do in the free for all one.

I can get a screenshot of the Martian if you want Trekkin.
  11. How about a mission where you need to stop a giant monster (or two) from running a giant monster's version of a Mayhem mission?
  12. Invuln/Mace Tanker dressed as Bob Barker (the mace will represent Bob's trademark mic).

I mean, did the guy just sit on a forum account for 5 years and never use it or what?
It's possible, not everyone who plays the game is a regular on the forums. Mine says Nov 2006, which I guess is when I first activated a forum account, but I've only recently begun using it on a more regular basis.

There are few things more frustrating to me than standing around in a mission twiddling my thumbs waiting for everyone to get their butts in gear. It doesn't matter what kind of AT or powersets I'm playing; if we're standing around for more than about 5 seconds, I'm going to take the initiative and get the ball rolling.
This is my biggest pet peeve, especially when I'm tanking. I don't want to rush in if the rest of the team isn't ready, but I find myself hesistating for too long because nobody else seems ready.

    What is it...

So a little floating distraction that may you alive a tiny bit longer is a bad thing?

Personally, I've always held the above as my ultimate ideal. Far and above teamwork and strategy, I prefer it when ever member of a team can look after himself to at least some degree if left alone and doesn't need to be babysat. If the team splits up, many people die or someone gets separated, I want to know they can hold out and possibly even win. I want to know I can rely on my team-mates to not die if I screw up, and I want them to be able to rely on me to take care of myself when they can't be everywhere.
A man, definitely. And I agree wholeheartedly.

Oh, please don't misunderstand me. The whole should be greater than the sum of its parts, I just argue that instead of each part being 1/8th of 1, I want each part being 1 of 8.
  17. A very wide, very flat Energy/Energy Blaster?

    Pilgrim of Anarchy
  18. I only use it when I need to go through two or more zones to get to where the mission is, and even then I typically forget about it. Honestly, the only booster temp powers I've gotten frequent use out of (aside from Secondary Mutation, which is just SHINY NEW!!1!) are Ninja Run and Self-Destruct.

You can easily play it similar, in that the dead do not have a will. They are driven by the will of the necromancer. If he raises them to fight evil, then good.
That's still very much a violation of a corpse. It works best if the deceased give permission.
  20. Whoooo!!! Congrats to the winners and thanks for the $25mil. Triceratops Man has always been popular, AND the red looks far better than the green.

I knew it was something like that. Being a displaced East Coaster causes me to miss some details.
  22. I know about the retching, and I still haven't seen it. I haven't noticed the -regen and -recharge though, so maybe it's more useful that it appears.

    Rassa frassa subtle effects...
  23. So I've gotten Poison Trap, and I still can't get it to work. I've heard it's quite awesome, but haven't seen anything to support this. I've been told that it works better if I place it at my enemy's feet instead of luring them into it, but while it breaks much more reliably, it still doesn't hold any of my foes. Does it need to be slotted before said awesomeness can take place? If so, how?
  24. Can we choose what influential skill set we'd have or do we have to rely on our own actual skill sets? 'Cause I doubt an expertise in veterinary medicine and zoology would help anyone (except for Praetorian animals).
