This is very disappointing and such a shame because it was so great that NC Soft seemed to have initially been thinking of giving a good level of service to their existing players.

It'll be interesting to see whether the European online purchase of in-game items is similarly delayed as there's no exclusivity to the physical DVD release in the UK.

My petition yesterday after 5 rocket launches was met with a "It's a known bug. It will be awarded retroactively when it is fixed for 5 launches." rather than getting the badge awarded to me.

I have always found any GMs I've had dealings with to be helpful, knowledgeable and courteous.

However, inconsitancies when dealing with issues like this are annoying. GMs should be following a set of rules so that all players are treated equally. It may be that Brooklyn was awarded the badge before policy changed (maybe because the fix is sorted and will be due soon) in which case I'm fine with that but I'd be interested to hear if anyone has successfully petitioned and got it in the last 24 hours as my petition was at 5pm last night.

I think it depends on which GM answers your petition (unless they've suddenly changed policy due to lots of requests) as I know of several people who had the badge awarded to them by GMs but my /petition was just met with a standard... it's bugged, it will award retroactively when it's fixed.

Maybe I should just go launch it another 5 times.

If you guys really want Positron to answer important badge questions perhaps you might think of taking certain elements of these conversations into other threads. I really don't envy him the task of wading through a lot of these discussions... yes, they're important ones to have but perhaps the same points can be made through actual badge questions to Positron rather than arguing out your own opinions on other people's questions to him.

Exemplar/Malefactor to someone doing the mission and you will get the badge when they do.

Is that something you've changed recently or are planning to change because when I've attempted this in the past only the mission holder gets awarded the badge for patrol missions.
To me it's seems like it's awarded the same way that a end of mission xp bonus is only awarded to the player who owns the kill x of x hunt in zone mission.
