*shakes cane wildly* Take yer threadjack elsewhere you young whippersnappers!
Has anyone else gotten the elusive mystery puppy card? I haven't had anything show up yet. -
Blah!!! Happened to pop in here see the second run idea (was already committed to something else when I found out about the first run) 5pm Central is 3pm Pacific. If, and it's a huge if, I can get home from work early (and by early, I mean around 4pm Pacific), I may hop on for a bit.

Quote:The only person I can think of that these could be from based on that location is Vega.Ok. . .I got a card that came opened today.
The card has no return address, and it was not signed.
The postmark is from New York City. The card does have 7 adorable puppies in Santa Hats on the front.
So Mr./Ms./Unsure Mysterious Card Sender "Thank You."
I got Ura/Shesa's and Wolfie/Hulkers' last Friday. -
I got Sooner's and WoodNimph's cards today.
WN - My bf says "please relay OMGYUMMY to the maker of the cookies" as I made him try one because they are quite tasty! -
Quote:The candy cane in mine arrived in one piece. The ornament is on the tree (yay!) and the candy cane is awaiting consumption. They turned out lovely Pax, thank you!I'm glad Y'all have gotten them
! I tried to personalize them as much as I could. Cavern & I already know what we're doing for all Y'all next year
. Yes, it will have a knitted 'something' as the card.
Sooner - I charted yours freehand, while driving from the yarn shop.
GA - That is as close to gold I have in my stash ... everything else was in a yarn gague waaaaaaaaaaaaay too big. I'm glad it's by your other stockings *big cheesy grin*.
Zek & Hulkers - both of yours are using the same snowflake design I charted after I charted Sooners, all freehand & in the car lol. They came out completely different (Zek yours is done in 'Fair Isle' using 2 colors & Hulkers is done in one color by changing up the knit & purl stitches.
Wolfie - I hope you like the design on yours. You'll be able to 'hunt' them all year long now.
Everyone else - I tried to match colors/patterns to personalities as best I could, mostly I just went w/ what looked good/was fun/interesting to knit.
...now I am wondering if the Candy Cane that Cav stuffed in them made it & in what condition it was in (whole or bits) when it got there lol...
Merry Christmas Y'all!
Pax -
Mine went out Thursday, so they should (hopefully) start arriving anytime.

While I appreciate the fact that you guys do have these sorts of contests, holding them during weekday business hours, especially on the West Coast, is, well, meh and not very fun. I can't spend all day at work trying to have faster twitch reflexes than those who do just to try to get a costume code.
I'll mention my support of the idea of a booster pack with these temporary costume powers. -

Quote:I got Ny's, Yeti''s and Stale/Cass's yesterday. All are hanging up nowI got my first cards today. Four arrived at once. Yedi, Tiggy, Ny and Stale and Cass thank you very much. I loved each card the same. But Ny's card will have a special place by my computer at work. LOL
I will be getting my cards out this weekend. Can't wait to see what else arrives in the mailbox.
My goal is to get mine out this weekend, I need to finish up the surprise that's going in them. -
That's one option. I haven't done Maros' arc on my turned villain blaster. She did talk to Maros in Scirocco's arcs, which enabled me to talk to him as a side contact. At least I'm guessing that enabled me to talk to Maros as a side contact. I didn't talk to Ansaldo or DuBrowski and was able to get the badge. FYI - Helper Maros did die in the mish - I was worried that he had to stay alive to get the badge, but that doesn't look to be the case.

Quote:Nope - According to this site, you do city-province-postal code.Ok I printed out 2 copies of Vyx's List version 2.0. But when sending cards to the great white north (Canada) isn't there something funky you have to do when addressing them? Don't you have to put the postal code first, then the provience?
Why they can not be more American I don't know?
Also what is the current postal rate to send up there?
As to the current rate for up there - the Post Office website has all the rate info you'll need/want. -
Quote:That's why we only use plastic pallets on international orders. There's too much that needs to be done with wooden pallets that its not worth the hassle. Now THAT is some hardcore penalties. Not that I don't understand the reasons, I used to work in shipping and the hassles just in getting wooden pallets that pass the laws for international shipping can be a pain in the rear.
You'd be surprised at how strict Australia is on import regulations. A lot of companies won't ship any food products there because trying to determine what will and won't be seized by customs is a logistical nightmare.
