I'm currently leveling a Gravity/Energy. Can't say it's the funnest thing I've ever done, but I'm about 10 levels higher than my numerous attempts at Mind/ and she's slowly getting better. It's just rather slow on the solo front, but since I just hit SOs I'm hoping things improve. I do wish I had some kind of AoE dmg for teaming.

Quote:Holy crow! The world is based on supreme coincidences. I joined that group Saturday or Sunday on a whim from a broadcast. I'm Zordanna!Hey Steamee you might wanna check out this awesome VG that I just joined http://thugs.guildlaunch.com/index.p...in=thugs&gid=0
They are very active on redside and the leader is always looking for new recruits -
Good to know I'm not the only one. I will look for you online. I am doing more CoV as I've never made it higher than 26 on villains. I'm surprised to find so many vet players in the few teams I put together. I wonder if this game no longer attracts new people. I also wonder how many people it really takes to red a server.

You guys are all wrong.
Saw this last night. I'd give it a "B". I liked 300 and Watchmen (in that order). I'm into fantasy/SF art and this thing looked amazing from the trailers. And it was. I just couldn't help but feel though that the battle inserts were totally hollow to the rest of the movie. A shame that such ridiculously good looking set pieces weren't better utilized in an even slightly more coherent way.
So I found the action pieces intruding on the story I really wanted to follow. I liked the non-fighting elements of the movie more as both visual and from a story perspective. The attention to detail in the 1960s era set pieces. The characters' make up. The battle scenes are ridiculously bombastic and fun, but I just couldn't get it to fit. Yes, I understand it's a fantasy within a fantasy within a story. It just felt too crammed in. Too many different themes. My buddy and I both agree that the WWI piece was the best. Maybe Zack should have just went with one setting spread over the 3-4 sequences.
The girls were good looking, but personally I didn't find it overly fetish considering it was basically a fantasy about forced servitude in a bordello. Maybe I just don't see it because I'm not "into" that. I had a harder time believing that this was PG-13 based more on the subject matter. As the woman with us said, "It was kind of rapey."
It's worth seeing. For me it was borderline worth seeing at the theatre. -
Hi. I've resubscribed after a half year away and just got Going Rogue. I frequently see Virtue in yellow or even red loading but when I sign on no one seems available for teams. I actually recruit (and have had few problems since 2004) so I'm not just passively LFT. I got a sense in 2010 that the sevver populations wee declining, but even then I never had too much trouble. Now with high server loads on prime times I'm hard pressed to find a team in the under level 20 categories (Red or Blue side).
Looking at /search shows few people of any level interested in teaming and surprisingly few people in general I can even send tells. Is everyone just hidden these days? Pick up groups all but dead? What am I missing? I've tried to ask the few I have teamed with over the last few days what's going on but no one seems to know. -
Sorry to hear you're leaving FF/Defender-dom. This is a great guide. Thanks for taking the time to put it together!

Nice to see an ice/ice guide. I would mention that Glacial Armor has excellent +perc for PVP. In fact, that's where I have it on the most get the greatest value for having it.
This is the only guide or post anywhere that I've seen that actually doesn't outright dismiss Frozen Aura. I'm curious as to the actual tactics that you use to get this power to be worth its weight.
