Basically this. You can only send one at a time by the in-game email, and you can only get ten enhancements out of your build per respec. So if you're fully equipped it'll take a lot of time and patience.

    Edit: Damn, too slow.
  2. Third one was excellent, with more character development. Finally figured out where I recognized that annoying kid prince from (Batman Begins), and he's still a phenomenal d-bag. It was good to see Snow get some more screen time, and Arya as well.

We could definitely use some support on the team, but other than that I thought it went pretty well. Hopefully we can add a few more people to the team, but I am trying to level an Ice/Cold corruptor to keep up with Arcananaut in case we need the support.
  4. I changed my mind. I'd take the ability to reach through my monitor and choke out morons on the internet.
  5. 1. Orbital Death Cannon Melee

    2. Shiny Tights Masks

    3. New Difficulty Settings
    - PermaDeath - character is deleted on defeat
    - PWND - character is deleted on defeat, account is deleted, your credit card is used to pay for flowers & motel rooms in the next town over, and the credit card bill is hand delivered by Positron to your wife

    4. Persistent game music - not just short little clips, but actual scores of decent music

    5. Flying Stripeless Zebra mounts

    6. Winged Hornless Unicorns

    7. Environmental Melee - wield enemies as weapons to defeat enemies

Truth be told, after 7 years I'd settle for just adding number 2 to this game.

Okay folks, an hour or so to go for anyone thinking about joining us. So roll up something fun and meet us in Nova.

    Smallville 4/29

Yeah, the director/editor seemed to really, really like slow-mo shots.

And Supernatural was great, although next week's episode looks amazing. Thankfully the Supernatural crew is actually good at pulling off great stories, and not just building them up to let them crash.

Any plan that requires you to run your buddy through with a sword may not have been the best thought out plan, but hey, if it works go with it.

I've done the same with an AR/NRG, skipping the melee attacks, for a natural concept blaster without going with Devices. Build Up, Power Boost, Boost Range, and Conserve Power, although Boost Range is the gem for AR blasters.

DP is certainly 'more fun' to play than AR if you like the animations, which I do. AR is fairly bland, just plant and shoot, but it's got AoE damage to spare if that's what you're after.

Sounds good, see you in Nova on Sunday.

Also. c'mon people, you know you wanna join us.

Because I find myself wishing that every person alive would '**** off and die' about 5 times a day (I work in a retail environment). Giving me the power to make that happen with a thought would be bad.

But picking ANY super power is an easy question; what about 'useless' powers? If you had to pick something that's out-of-the-ordinary, but not extraordinary, what kind of power would you take? For example, I'd like to be able to make things glow by touching them. I always thought that'd be pretty rad. Suddenly, everything becomes a lamp.
As far as useless powers go, I'd want to be able to create fantastical origami/balloon creations and imbue them with life. Go forth my paper and rubber minions and conquer the world for your new GOD!
  12. The ability to pull anything I need out of my back pocket, like they do in the old school cartoons.

Rampaging, mutant poodle with acid spit and deadly eye lasers? Hey! I think I've got just the thing to take care of that.

Or, ya know, this morning commute would be much easier in an Abrams tank. And I've got one in here somewhere!

I will be bringing a stalker, Arcananaut (KM/Energy). He`s a loyalist. A ruthless scientist obsessed with magic, and can go either redside or blueside.

I mostly mentioned redside because I have yet to get a character very involved in redside, and don`t know about much past Sharkhead. That said, I`m fine with blueside as well if that`s what you guys want. Like I said, the character is suited well to the grey area in between good and evil.
  14. ((I've got a AR/Traps corr at 25, Zero for Hire. It's good fun, especially Flamethrower. Numbers for a few powers will be lower (FFG, Acid Mortar, and Seekers) but the mines will be higher (yay?). Once you get used to the cones, the aoe from AR is quite good.))

    KM Stalker

Stalker forum might be a better spot to ask, but I'm fairly certain it isn't a 100% chance to crit from hide.

Edit: Some discussion on it in this thread (last post).

    I love that movie.
  18. Executioner's Shot - it's a thing of vicious beauty

Hurl/Handclap/Footstomp - no other powers in the game quite embody what a set is better than these three do

Stone Spears - have you seen that animation? awesome

Wormhole - it's raining men!, or alternatively, I'll save you Mr. Tanker by adding more fuel for RTTC/Invinc

Superjump - some people like fly, I think it's boring as hell, but I still get butterflies in my stomach when I come over the apex of a jump and begin hurtling towards the ground

Eagle's Claw - because it's so pretty, and you get to kick a badguy's forehead out the back of his skull

Dull Pain - because I'm a sadist and enjoy popping it just before the enemy is about to kill me and shouting "FOOLED YOU!" all Dark Helmet style at my monitor as I heal for 1500 hp

Assassin Strike (for Broad Sword) - now that's how you stab someone in the back!

And among powers that enemies get, there are few things as cool in this game as fighting the large clockwork bosses and taking their big backhand slap to the jaw and being sent flying backwards across the room. One of the few cases where being knocked back doesn't bother me one bit.
  19. Just finished watching episode two, and I'll just say that it was equal to the first. Very well done. My only issues are that some of the characters I like aren't getting as much screen time as I'd hoped, so far anyway, and that I have to wait another week to watch more.

    Also, Dire Wolves kick ***.

Dammit. Fine. You've convinced me. I'm in.

Will be bringing a corruptor or defender, maybe a stalker. Name/Powersets yet to be determined.

Edit: Or maybe the Dominator I've been wanting to make. Maybe the only AT I haven't played for any amount of time other than EAT's. This is why I hate static teams*. Too many ideas for characters before you even show up.

*Yet this will be my third at this time.
  21. Doom
    Dude, Where's My Car?
    Commando
    Get Carter (Stallone version)
    Wild Wild West

... to name but a few.

I'll think about this. Can't really get a better timeslot than that for me, but was hoping my next static team would be redside. Still, always good fun to be had.
