  1. Tank it is. Working on the always delightful multiple respecs and emailing of stuff.
  2. I saw a guy on the street here in Calgary who had the Hans Gruber thing going on. I actually did a double take, it was uncanny.
  3. Mmm... Speed Boost. Almost forgot to make a keybind that say SB plz!!! that I can spam over and over and over and over...

The more I think about it, the more I'm liking the Shield idea.
  4. Or, here's a crazy thought, I just reroll Moxie Girl as a tanker.

"Hey guys, I just realized I'm not actually bulletproof so I got this nifty shield!"
  5. Mostly, it's squishier than any set I've ever played. To be fair though, I've only played it to 37, so maybe it gets better later, I dunno.
  6. Regarding the tanker question, I have a Science origin Ice/Ice at 21 right now, The Abdominal Snowman, that we could use. He's a super nice, world famous model who's about as smart as a sack of hammers. He assumed his powers to be from a Crey experiment, but could just as easily have come from a dormant mutation that allowed him to escape captivity (he doesn't actually remember what happened between getting grabbed and waking up in a ditch).

I can always switch over to him and leave Moxie Girl. I don't know if we really 'need' a tanker, or just a change in tactics (no banzai charge!).

P.S. Willpower sucks. As much as I'm enjoying StJ, I'm hating WP. You'd think I would learn to stop rolling WP toons.
  7. Wow, a hundred grand for testing something that involves both space and lasers. Yeah, that'll go far you cheapskates.
  8. Now the question for my Inv/TW tanker becomes: what titan weapon model do I give a giant bipedal rhinoceros samurai (name: Samurhinoceros)?

Kanabo doesn't look to be an option, so I'm thinking axe or sword.

    Thoughts?
  9. Wouldn't worry too much on level with the whole sidekick angle the game's got going on. Besides, a couple sewer trials and you'll be right there.

I think we still have room. It's been hard to get a good read on how many we've got given all the goings' on lately.
  11. Graphics drivers installation... going......so........slow. Be there as soon as I can.

    The Walking Dead

Dogs and cats can fend for themselves for the most part, unless it's the cutesy, useless type of animal. With refuse piling up after the fall of civilization mice/rat populations would sky rocket and provide dogs/cats plenty of food. My leopard gecko requires a ridiculously small amount of food/water, but the outdoor temperatures would do him in in no time. The idea of zombies actually catching dogs/cats with any efficiency or regularity strikes me as ludicrous, even at fast-zombie speeds.
  13. Personally, I like the idea of Regen for Tankers, but it's hard to comment on its actual survivability without seeing its numbers for Tankers and any changes/additions the devs would make when porting it to a tanking AT.

The devs would compensate by giving us Ninjitsu (Smokeflash), allowing us to kill our teams en masse.

Just a head's up: for anyone doing this, it's always a good idea to use the website's word count as well as your word processor's, as the two aren't always equal (the website's is usually lower). 2018 is definitely a good start though, nice work.

Edit: Although, I can't actually find their day-to-day counter as of yet, just an option to enter a word count. Hmm...

Good call, taking yourself out of the competition before it even begins. But I guess you're busy writing the bible every other month so we'll forgive you for chickening out.

    NaNoWriMo 2011

Less than 24 hours to go until the start date of National Novel Writing Month 2011. So, who else is taking part? Anyone interested can check out the NaNoWriMo site for more info, but the gist of it is you start from scratch and pump out a 50k word, or more, novel in a month, about 1700 words a day.

Myself and a few others from Unleashed are giving it a go. This will be my 3rd year, having failed the first time, and finishing last year. It's an interesting challenge, and definitely a rewarding experience if you can keep with it. I highly recommend it.

Don't have a clue what to write about? Join the club and wing it like me.
  18. After testing Titan Weapons for 20 minutes on Beta, I formally change my answer to Inv/TW. I like it.
  19. Not my favourite episode, but I liked it. Bobby was great as usual, but it looks like were headed into the Sea of Angst with Sam and Dean.

Good to see Crowley get knocked down a peg or two.
  20. So, Metal, Tally, and I ran the haunted house and did some Trick or Treating. I think we all hit 18. Spinning Strike! See ya next week.
  21. Don't forget to use Burnout right away to get Dark Regen back right away.

I think I've settled on TW/Fire brute, as well as an Inv/TW tanker. Should be fun.
