  1. Just getting back into CoH after being gone for a bit. All my toons are on Pinnacle, and the server is dead, dead, dead. Several times I have been the only one of my toons level on!

I play mostly during EST daytime hours, so it's not peak time by any means, but the Incarnate stuff REQUIRES you to have a team of AT LEAST 8, and oftentimes there aren't even 8 players that level even on.

My question is: Are they going to do server mergers? Most servers are ghost towns now, with only 2 actually showing any life.....
  2. Glah...

I used to love CoH because whether you solo'ed or teamed, it was fun and rewarding, even if you just jumped on for a few missions. Now, unless you can gather a large group and a significant chunk of time... not so much.

Sad that the game has moved to this...
  3. Gone for about a year, just got back. Unfortunetly, Pinnacle is dead as a door nail. What is a 50 supposed to do if there isn't anyone else playing?

If there any way to earn Incarnate XP, or get the materials needed to craft Incarnate stuff if you have to go solo?
  4. All excited that i16 was out, resubbed, and sent my Kheld to the tailor.. and discovered that Veats can't modify thier color palette. What the @#@!?

Fastest resub and cancelation in MMO history.
  5. Sent some messages, nothing yet. I know for the longest time this problem was listed under the "known issues" with each patch, then one day it just got removed. The issue is still there, they just seem to give up on it.

I really just want to know if the Devs have swept it under the rug and no longer plan on fixing it or is there hope maybe it will be finally taken care of?

(For me, this keeps me from playing my Bane toon as the arms waving around look just stupid for the build.)

Thanks in advance to any Devs that can let us know what's going on!
  6. PM the Dev's? Anyone know who to PM? Do they answer?
  7. Yes, that is true.. but doesn't answer my question. :P
  8. Just started up with CoH after being gone for a bit. One of the things that pushed me over the 'try something now' bump was the fact that there was no way to remove the Crab Spider BackPack on your costume at the tailors. You know the one.. the one with the big waving arms.

Now, I know you need that if you are a Crab Spider, but on an Alt build I went with the Mace guy line. However, there was a broken piece of code regarding the backpack, so you couldn't remove it even if you didn't have any Crab Spider powers. It was a 'known issue' and the Devs said they were working on it.

That was last winter. I came back, not only is it still broken, it doesn't even show up on the 'known issue' list anymore. Did the Dev's just write that off? Was there an announcement that they had given up fixing it?
  9. Great guide, but I gotta throw my 2 cents in. Triage Beacon. The only reason you should take this is it will make you appreciate the Respec mission all that much more. This power is a dog. Acid Mortar is by FAR the better choice. Great Debuffing, it draws fire.... Triage Beacon makes almost no difference in the healing rate, and only works if you hang around for a while.

I always begin a big battle by dropping the mortar, it makes that much of an impact.
