IO set bonuses only work up to within three levels of your exemplared level.

IE. If you slot Level 50 bonuses, you will only get the set bonus from level 47 on up. If you are exemplared below level 47 you loose the bonuses.

But what about the actual IO percentages? Aren't those less at levels below 50?

Yes, but unless you are slotting ridiculously low sets, the amount that you loose per IO will most likely be made up for in the set bonuses. ED (Enhancement Diversification) means that you loose part of the enhancement value when you slot more than 1 of a certain type of enhancement, say accuracy. The more you slot, the more you loose. See this Paragonwiki article for more information on how enhancement bonuses work.

All of this being said, I try to buy my enhancements for the level at which I think I might exemplar to most often. For me that is level 28-32. Your mileage may vary. Pick a level to try to get your bonuses at that will work for what you plan to do with the character. If you will only ever run level 50 content then level 50 IO's are fine, but if you want your bonuses to work at a lower level, then you should plan your build accordingly.

Edit: It appears I'm a bit late with the news. But the thought behind it stands. Freelancers generally suck if they try to write anything deeper than an episode of friends.

At the character select screen my characters were all silhouettes. A few had like a forearm that was displayed or the trim on a cloak. Random and only just a few. Guess maybe the warning was something I shouldn't ignore.

In game I see blue/gray silhouettes of the landscape. /unloadgfx flashes a correct looking display for less than a second and it changes perspective too. It is very close up to the character no matter how far out it have the perspective view. Then it returns to the blue/gray. I did this multiple times on mulitple characters too.

Died to a Ritkti raid trying to run away in the dark with one character .... yay.

So I update my ATI drivers. They were version 10.4. (pretty sure) Now they are 10.11. Same problem exists with newest version.

What did you guys do? Things looked great yesterday. Today; totally broken.

I'm not an expert. I would never refer to myself as an expert. I'm functionally incapable of thinking of myself as an expert, in any aspect of my life. I certainly didn't give any indication that I would call myself an expert, or want anyone to address me as such. Nor have I implied that I know everything. More than you? Yes, based on your own admissions and unintentional revelations when you were posturing, but everything? Quite the opposite, in fact, I stated that no-one, not even experts, know everything or can prepare for everything, thus the need for companions.

But I am capable. I had to learn survival skills to take care of myself, and if I weren't at least moderately competent, I'd already be dead several times over, from exposure, starvation, injuries.



Mom has a basement now? Good for her. I haven't seen any of my family in over fifteen years, so I wasn't sure how they were getting along.

I logged on my level 11 Praetorian corruptor and started to respec. As soon as I select my second power, the fitness pool disappears. I have tried the respec several times, backingout after the pool disappears, but it won't come back. Off to see if it truly goes away or if it is just a UI bug.
