Game Build
Power database in line with game build 1800.201003300904.10T4 (Issue 17)
Changes & Updates:
- Fixed version issues that was causing false update flags
- Fixed a bug in Mastermind Patron pools that would not allow the last power in the set to be selected if only the first two powers were taken
- Fixed bug causing new Defender Vigilance to not work correctly
Known Issues
- Ninja Run does not display correctly for Kheldian form powers. Ninja Run is replaced with a form inherent power.
- The powers obtained by Dual Pistols > Swap Ammo, do not apply any effects to Dual Pistol powers.
- Diminishing Returns for PvP mode have not yet been added, all buffs currently show their full, unmodified values.
- The Power Graphs for the current build do not display effects for pseudo-pet powers like Ice Storm. This does not affect the Powerset Comparison, which is now fully aware of pseudo-pets.
- 60 Month Vet reward button not added. This means taking a Tier 3 travel pool power at level 6 or higher is automatic for everyone. You need to know whether or not you are eligible for this reward or you must take your travel power at level 14 or higher.

Thanks for the update. Quick question: when I fire up Mid's, I see that the database version date is 3/5/10. Is that the latest? I uninstalled the version I had before and installed 1.706 (MDXSetup1-706.exe). I've installed it on my Win 7 system with Run As Administrator.

No, you can not use the auto-update. This is due to UAC in Vista and now Win7. You will have to download and install the new verisons. They will actually overwrite your existing install so an uninstall of the old version is not necessary.The auto-update is now basically there to let you know there is a new version.Quote:Originally Posted by Samuel_Tow

On a side note, in this newest version, in my insanity of trying to get the blaster and troller numbers fixed, I forgot to double check to make sure the new vigilence was working correctly. It wasn't, so when I get to work, I am gonna roll up a new install and get that out.
Sorry for all the problems with the I17 realease(s) everybody, Steiner and myself ran into a lot of stuff that we weren't really expecting. We are determined to make sure you guys (and gals) have a quality program with correct data and information. -

I only have one question (out of curiosity). Do you have a plan on how to add diminishing returns for pvp? Because even the pro players who pvp all the time with the combat monitors on don't have a clear idea on how much anything gets DR'ed in pvp. -

Another bug I found: When I make a PB or WS and select a powr at level 1, I get Energy Flight or the WS TP power, which is correct.
However, when I choose my level 4 power, the flight/tp power HEATs get at level one are replaced by Ninja Run.

Is your mids in PvP mode? One of the buttons in the upper right hand corner sets this (Mode: PvP/PvE, Recipes: Off/On and Pop-Up: Off/On are the 3 buttons). I can't get your exact value to show in my copy but in PvP mode I show 796 base damage for unslotted pistols, 1552 fully slotted. There used to be a problem with Mids installs where they would override the PvP/PvE setting and set it to PvP. It didn't do this on my install, but it might have on yours.
Another possibility - if you have build up turned on (small green dot on the right hand side of power listing) it's damage boost will be applied to all powers in the power info display. -

Making a Mastermind Build...selected 2 tier 1 epic power, and it wasnt unlocking the tier 3 power.
The Tier 3 would unlock if I selected a tier 2 power however. -

BTW two things I noticed so far:
1) HP set bonuses are bugged. For example, Luck of the Gambler is giving 778 HP on my fire/kin (I believe it was 1/100 of that before). I think this applies to +maxhp powers too. Earth's Embrace activated on the fire/kin shows that he goes from his 'base' 9k hp (9k because of the bugged set bonuses) to 45k hp.
EDIT: This seems to affect controllers and blasters only - I tested making new ATs of almost all of them (except VEATs and EATs) and the bonuses seem normal. The +maxhp Blaster power Hoarfrost is also affected.
2) On the same fire/kin my def was 45.2% to s/l and now it shows 49%ish, I couldn't find what was changed. My /SR, /nin and /shields toons show the same defs they had before.
