  1. ((Well, sure, but Khel shorts out machines too...Ah, whatever. I'm just guessing the owner of the puppy wouldn't be too happy about that.))
  2. ((Khel's reaction to colossal explosions?

    "...Mmm...Lunch..."))
  3. ((You *really* don't want Khelly to catch the puppy...Unless you want it to stop moving. For good. ))
  4. [ QUOTE ]
I love it except the heros are so unbalanced (uber) compared to villians!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Funny, that's what I always thought about villains compared to heroes >.>

Anyway. I'm most certainly a no.
  5. She smirked, and cracked her knuckles. "You gotit. That iz, aft'r Khel eat'z half 'a 'im. She'd prob'bly kill 'nywun who got 'n th' way 'a 'er best meal ev'r."
Ink scrubbed at a faded, barely visible Sharpie mustache on her face. Sometimes this power was just a pain in the butt, especially when you were hanging out with your crazy friends and one of them thought it'd be funny to misuse your power.
The mustache had been there for a week or so now, despite the frequent dunkings in Sharkhead's ocean.

She sighed, and pulled a surprisingly fresh donut out of her pocket.
  6. Khel reached out and drew in E-X's energy. Then she turned to follow him into the elevators, rather unsteady on her feet as usual. She was careful not to touch the doors or any of the buttons, because then she'd drain the elevator, and, well...That'd just mean trouble.

Inky smirked. "I nev'r went shopp'ng, y'know, I alreddy had th's suit. I jus' shed m' leav'z." She pointed at a trail of orange-brown leaves leading out from the women's bathroom, and picked the last leaf off her arm.
    "St. Marsh'l, eh? Aright, tell Pow'r Break'r 'm on m' way."
Nobody may know where she gets all those donuts, and nobody knows how she manages to keep her skateboard with her and constantly hidden.
She pulled out a board from somewhere, jumped on it, sped off into the redside bar, and ground to a halt right inside the elevator doors.
Inky grinned and waved as the doors closed.
  7. She got up, brushed herself off, and nodded. Although she'd rather drain the waiter than pummel him, but either way. Khel was happy to go kick Poe's energy-laden butt.
"...Hmm...I'm not sure where...Inky's gone..." She frowned slightly, and kicked at the floor.

Meanwhile, inside the bathroom, Ink decided she'd come out. It was against her nature to run and hide from trouble -- in fact, trouble WAS a big part of her nature.
She slipped quietly out and into the heroside bar, this time in her thorn-shredded green suit.
  8. "...I'll get the robot..." Khelly rasped. "...Or at least hold its...attention..." She coughed again, and ran straight at the robot, leaping onto its giant metal knee. She dug her talons in deeply, clinging to the robot as best she could, drawing on its massive power source. It was like a chicken dinner to someone who'd been living on half-eaten fish for most of their life.

Her eyes started glowing brightly, and her hair fell away from her face. Luckily, it was obscured by the violet glow, and only her fanged mouth was visible.
  9. When he was through, Kheldragon yanked the sides of the rip back together, eyes glowing like purple stars. She was careful not to make even the slightest bit of contact with him.
Khel turned around. The void was a lot like the Shadow Shard, but with ever-changing colors and no floating islands.

She slashed another hole right in front of her and ducked through it, rolling right into the middle of the heroside bar in the real Pocket D. She collided with a human patron, ending up in a three-person pileup, and the man suddenly went cold and limp.

Khel shut her eerie eyes and climbed out of the pile. She'd killed someone without meaning to. Other immortals were lucky. They didn't have to live in constant pain and in fear of killing innocent people just by too much contact.
  10. Kheldragon wasted no time in slashing a dimensional hole as fast as she could, and started sucking all the remaining energy from what was left of the program. Damn, she was hungry. She hadn't eaten much of anything in that prison, just enough to keep her alive.

"...Get through here..." she rasped at Kip. She would have yanked him through, but she didn't want to kill -- or at the very least, seriously drain -- him. And she really didn't want to stick around and see if the program would start up again.
  11. She stomped over, crushing robots beneath her Dwarf feet, and brought her great shadowy claws down on the gate. It crumbled after a few more Dwarf-punches.

The giant dark lobster turned, and stepped through space and time, only to reappear at another gate. Khel quickly crushed this one, too, and managed to squish a few robots along the way.
  12. ((Khel IS the meatshield ))
  13. Kheldragon felt his energy growing weaker. Whether that was because of him using so much of his powers, or because she was involuntarily draining everyone and everything near her, she didn't know. She ALSO didn't have a plan.
She transformed with another BOOM into a giant, hulking, shadow-lobster-thing, and dug her claws into several of the robots. They sparked and died, and most of the bullets were bouncing off her Dwarf shell. Of course, there were also quite a few that found their mark.

She leaped into the air and landed on about ten more robots, crushing them beneath several tons of space lobster, just wondering what would happen next. With everyone's efforts, they were actually making a dent in the army.

But how long could they go on?
  14. ((Just so ya know, Khel's internal wounds -- the reason she'd coughing and vomiting blood -- can't be healed. The bullet wounds, sure, if that's what you meant, but the ones she had when this started can't.))

She slowly got up, the needles (to her) of pain completely gone. She jumped at a couple of the bots like a raptor, making great gouges in their metal guts with her talons. They were designed for disembowelling, after all.

One tried to jump on her back. It found itself impaled on her shoulder spikes, and promptly drained.
  15. Yey! ^_^

*searches everywhere for one of the best meals in the multiverse, AKA Poe*
  16. *is ALSO a fire-fire-fire. A catsquidragon, even*

    *yawns*
  17. Ha ha! I haven't ever done that mission!

*escapes by sheer ignorance and pushes El_D into the pit*

    Neeeext!
  18. *pokes Recluse and the spiders*

    *they fall over*

    Neeeeext!
  19. "...Lovely..." Kheldragon said with the faintest edge to her voice. She flexed her claws, and a shimmering purple shield formed around them. It was a one-way shield, of course, so they could attack, but the shield was hardly invincible.
She reached out, perfectly calmly, and managed to touch eight bots at once. There was a fizzing and a sparking, and suddenly they all crumpled to the ground, broken and drained.
Khel's eyes began glowing again as she hurled a bolt of Nictus energy through the ranks of the robots directly in front of her. It wasn't as effective as draining them, however, and they advanced.

She disappeared in a cloud of purple energy with a loud BOOM, and was replaced by a glowing, flying squid-thing. It lashed its tail and sprayed the dark energy in a wide cone in front of her, sending many of the bots flying. It was followed up with a ball of energy that hit one of the robots and exploded with a BOOM almost as loud as her transformation.

Thousands of bullets embedded themselves in her squiddy skin, but she barely felt it. She was very used to pain. It was her constant companion.
The squiddy's body gave out, and she dropped out of the form, falling forwards onto the floor. She coughed several times, creating a pool of red on the floor.

Khel reached out to the bots right in front of her and grabbed their ankles, draining them completely. Then she whipped around and fired Nictus energy at some of the others, putting a good chunk of the attention on her.

After all, a human shield was what she did best. And through all this, she still managed to keep her face hidden from the others. No sense in them losing their nerve and getting killed.
  20. *drains El_D*

    *has said enough*
  21. "...Yeah...I'll be all right..." she said, her voice barely audible from below. Someday, I hope. she added silently. Khel didn't know what this was about either. She, too, would do well if their powers were to be taken away (assuming she could store enough energy to keep herself alive).
Not only was her face creepy enough to give someone a heart attack, but she'd retain her claws and scales since that was her natural form.

She pulled a power core out of a pocket somewhere and gripped it tightly, slowly draining away all the energy it contained. A light snack she'd ripped out of a Crey pistol. With her other claw, she sucked in the orb of electricity in Target-Lad's hand.

((This is Khel. Ignore the fact that her face is showing. Like I said, she's eighteen or nineteen, but doesn't look it at all.))
