Sinse the servers opened again following todays maintenance, I've had a some issues. At first I was able to get into the game, but when I changed zones I'd get booted to the character selection screen. Now, when I select a character and click next, it starts loading the zone but boots me back to the login screen half way through loading. I've also had mapserver issues sinse the servers opened again.

I remember your other thread, mainly because you only posted it a few days ago, and I commented it in. It's good to know you're enjoying the game. I hope other new players enjoy the CoH experience as much as you have so far. They should make a Mids' chest logo for CoH, because... OK, it'd be pointless. I know what would be good though. If you were able to copy and paste your build directly into the game when respec'ing, rather than choosing each power individually. That way, the lazy people (probably just me) would have more time to drink tea and watch Nick Jr. That obviously isn't going to happen, so I guess I'll just have to miss Peppa Pig while I slog my way through the respec process... *sigh*

I was fooled by the computer self destruct thing lol. I had my finger on the trigger, ready for a fight.
I really like the new Atlas Park content. Hope they eventually revamp the other zones to the same standard as Atlas Park. -

I completely agree with everyone on this. One of my more recent lvl 50 characters was going to be a Katana/WP scrapper, but after looking through the choices of Katana compared to the choices of Broadsword, I much preferred the choices Broadsword had to offer and thus made a BS/WP instead. War Mace is another that needs more options. Screw the nightsticks, wrenches, and ridiculous bits of wood and other such things. They look stupid, and aren't very good options at all. We need more awesome looking War Mace's like the Fantasy Mace. I love the look of that one.

Alright, we've got several of you in game now, but meeting you all could be harder. To help with that, and just so we can all hang out, I've created an open channel, United Statesmen. Join it, and I'll check the channel whenever I'm on and we can get you in that way. Also feel free to use it to meet other friends and stuff. Open channel means just that. Just don't behave like jerks is all I ask.

I was messing around with the character creator, trying to make a Tyrant style costume to use as a Statesman alternate when I ended up with a costume I really like. The only problem is that I can't decide on a Statesman inspired name and story that'd fit the costume. Does anyone have any ideas (He's a mace/invuln brute because I prefer brutes to tankers... Oh, and ignore the Statesmanc name at the bottom lol)?
Edit: How does Statesmace sound? He could be from Weapon Wielding Earth or something lol.

I joined CoH on Feb 10, 2005 so I'm a noob compared to some of you I've played on and off sinse then, and I've always loved playing the game and chatting to other players. CoH has an excellent community.

Welcome to the forums, and to CoH. Glad you're enjoying it so far. I don't bother stopping crimes outside of missions, as the citizens of Paragon City seem pretty damn strong. They never end up getting robbed no matter how long you leave them struggling with a bad guy.
