  1. Sucks it is a LIMITED TIME item TIER 9 when you might not even have access for tier 9 durning the limited time. If it does come back around I guess that works.
  2. Thanks everyone for the advice. I didn't even think about the difficulty and I didn't know about the police day job bonus. I have two level 50's and while I have found a few new missions for the most part it has been more of the same. Though that is as much likely because I have 5 in the twenty something range (I tend to not focus and instead play everything).

She only has two AoE's and I think that is all she will have access to. She has tough and weave when she needs which has been enough so that she doesn't die and get debt. I have one of her versions of aim, but not the other as yet.
  3. It has been quite a while since I've really played CoH so my perspective may be a little skewed, but it takes me about 25-30 minutes to complete a mission map (lvl 29 Psy/Mental blaster) and I get about one bubble per mission. So that is 5 hours (at least that with travel times even it mission time averages out) to get one level? I remember it being slow, but not this slow. Is this the result of all the leveling exploits or has it always been this bad and I just don't remember it?
  4. Ouch. I can't believe I almost forgot about this and lost my chance to respec and keep a respec.
  5. I posted this over in feed back as it seems likely better there.
  6. When I first heard about issue 16 my first thought was that I hoped I would be able to turn off all the power particle effects on some of my heroes. I mean I wouldn't expect a fireball not to have an effect and wouldn't want it that way, but not every comic book hero is about the "flash" when it comes to their powers. I don't want my hero that way. It is one of the things that has really bugged me since the game started.

I am some what grateful. I mean Inv/Willpower/etc are able to turn off most of their flash and that is quite nice. I assume some of it just couldn't turn off, so I accept that. What really annoys me is that things like Super Strength and Dual blades didn't get the same consideration and in the case of SS seem to have even more flash (more likely are just brighter about it now). It has always been extremely off putting I don't want/need some bright flash of light when my character hits something with his fist/blades. If I wanted that then I would have picked something like energy (for fists at least) instead, For example I know the best part of seeing Spider-man or Superman hit something when I was a kid was when that bright flash of light went off.

I'm not saying take if off just give me the option to turn it off on those powers that have a personal effect or other visible effects. Maybe not now as you may be past that point, but please at least give it more thought for the future.
  7. Like others have said I'm fine with the timer it is the need for the trainer that is annoying. It feels real super heroic to go run and ask my mom...I mean a trainer...if I can go change my costume.

    Fun Tanks?

The only Fun Tank is if you find Tanks fun. If you go into it expecting to tank then it will be fun. Expect to try to hold agro, that you need to spec your defense more than anything else, that solo is possible only barely. Too many people build Tankers trying to be something else and all that does is cause people to hate grouping with you. Its like blasters wanting to be scrappers.

My build is Inv/Super and he is fun because I built him and expect him to tank. I find it fun making sure that the attackers stay on me. I take it a personal affront when someone gets hit instead of me (unless they are being stupid). I want to make sure any healer in my group is bored or too busy doing damage.
