  1. have you seen that there's gonna be a lego MMO?
  2. And... throwing another 2 cents in....

I think the label should remain on PV, since, yes, all channels SHOULD follow the CoD, since that's kinda the reason for that channel to exist.. that it is family friendly, that would be a reason that someone might chose that channel over another. Therefor, it's useful info and should be mentioned.
  3. I think just listing JS as an adult channel should cover it.
  4. I suggest:

After the info is updated, this thread be unstickied, and a new thread be created with the updated info.

For ease of finding the info.
  5. I'll offer my services as Ranged team lead (or blaster team... whatever you call it)
  6. My brother sent me this request, and I came up totally blank.

Thought I'd throw it out to a a larger audience:

Greatings, my movie quoting friends. My wife has begun teaching SAT prep classes; she wants to include in her overview presentation a montage of movie scenes that make reference to math, grammer or reading comprehension learnin', in a non-classroom setting. For instance, she remembered a Val Kilmer line from "Red Planet": "This is it. That moment they told us about in high school where one day, algebra could save our lives." If you can think of ANYTHING along these lines, please share. Thanks.
    Any thoughts?

Here's an easy one, but I like it.

    You know I never
I never seen you look so good
You never act the way you should
    But I like it
And I know you like it too
The way that I want you
    I gotta have you
    Oh yes, I do

    You know I never
I never ever stay out late
You know that I can hardly wait
    Just to see you
And I know you cannot wait
    Wait to see me too
    I gotta touch you

  11. WoW habit used to arrest drug dealer

Or... if you don't want to click the link:

    Quote:
Criminals can run, but they can't hide. Especially if they play World of Warcraft.

Just ask Alfred Hightower. Having successfully left the country to avoid being nabbed for dealing drugs, the fugitive figured he was home free. But thanks to his insistence on keeping up with his World of Warcraft habit, Hightower was tracked down by authorities and is now in custody, reports The Kokomo Perspective.

The saga begins in 2007, when Indiana's Howard County Sheriff's Department issued a warrant for Hightower's arrest on charges of dealing in multiple controlled substances. U.S. Marshals were unable to locate the suspect, although a tip placed him in Canada.

According to Howard County deputy Matt Roberson, authorities came upon the Warcraft connection during their investigation into Hightower's background.

“We received information that this guy was a regular player of an online game, which was referred to as ‘some warlock and witches’ game,” he told The Perspective. “None of that information was sound enough to pursue on its own, but putting everything we had together gave me enough evidence to send a subpoena to Blizzard Entertainment. I knew exactly what he was playing — World of Warcraft. I used to play it. It’s one of the largest online games in the world.”

Blizzard played ball, giving up Hightower's account history, IP address, screen name, billing address and preferred game server. One Google Earth search later, and Canadian authorities had apprehended Hightower in Ottowa, Ontario.

“You hear stories about you can’t get someone through the Internet,” said Roberson. “Guess what??You can. I just did. Here you are, playing World of Warcraft, and you never know who you’re playing with.”

Warcraft is just the latest ally in gaming's war against crime. Several weeks ago, police tracked down a New York thief by tracing his online gaming on a stolen Xbox. Federal officials have even begun using Sony's Playstation 3 to crack passwords used by child pornographers.
  12. People tend to get all excited about the "18 and above" comment in the MotD, and some seem to take it as a challenge.

However, there was a very specific reason that warning was put in place, it's very old news, as well.

Come on in, have fun, look around.... but please don't take the MotD as some sort of challenge.
  13. *tosses an extra large rump roast as an apology for missing it yesterday*

    Happy Birthday!

    I disagree.

I have been present at most of the hami raids on Protector. I can tell you that with experienced raid leaders and experienced team leaders, we can effectively and efficiently - and do so while having fun - complete a hami raid in a reasonable amount of time.
  15. I am one acheivement shy of having 100% of the acheivements for Fallout 3. I keep telling myself I'm going to just get it one day... but then... I go play Borderlands, or DA again.

I think that what was missing was strategy and team makeup, of the teams I ended up on, most were squishy, so I didnt really know what the tanks or scrappers were up to.

If anyone can spare a 50, (with free server transfers--transfer back if you want) I invite you to Virtue hami raid, at 6 pm EST Saturday heroside (3 pm PST)

The hami raids there are smooth and with a little adaptation the strategies can be transferred here. They do evacless raids, not really well suited to learning raiders. There is also a guide to hamidon raids on the virtue forums detailing evacuating raids.

Anyhow, I will be there as Princess Lee, scrapper team leader maybe if Neko doesnt grab me!

    Come for a hami visit!
Protector was one of the first servers to complete the new hami raid, and Woeful Knight, Kidengineer and several others have lead many successful raids both red and blue side since then.

EDIT: Elric is correct. We were one of the first to complete it blue side, the first to complete it red side, and, therefor, the first to have completed it both red and blue.

I am very sorry that last nights raid didn't go well. The fault, if there is one, does not lie in the skills or abilities of Protector's players.
  17. It's 2010 here in the Central Time Zone!

    Happy New Year!
