Hyper... why didn't you say something when this was posted? T was specifically trying to find out when people can do it.

And I think you must have missed when T clarified exactly what he expects from someone bringing a tank on a magi badge run. Being in on it on beta isn't on the list.

Hyper, why didn't you speak up earlier? That was the whole point of this thread - to find out when we should schedule the next attempt. So why did you wait to say anything until after T set a date?

I'm really confused.

And the evening attempts would be a good time to show you can tank it... Since T only allows 3 tanks per run. Get your street cred, as it were.

Unless they come up with something new, they're planning to do it next week, and the week after, and the week after.....

And my OCD won't let me NOT try.

Ok, question for Zwill/Hit Streak -

Was there ever a point, perhaps later in the evening, when the codes weren't getting snatched up within a few seconds? When it slowed down to a point that an average person might have a real chance of getting a code?

Or, to put it another way - were 300 US codes enough? Not enough? Too many?

And, are you at least considering other options for this event? or is this pretty much how it's gonna go from here on out?

They've said they don't have the ability to do that.

But... please... don't do code grabs. PLEASE.

Or give us a time frame to send a PM on the forums or an email.

I wish I had the words to express how much I really hate this. I'm compulsive enough that even after telling myself not to waste my time trying... I'll try anyway.

And then I'll just get angry and frustrated all day. Which I'm pretty sure is not your intent.

I know you guys got your butts kicked last week and I really do know and appreciate how hard you're trying to make as many people happy as possible....

But I simply cannot emphasize enough how much I hate code grabs.

There has GOT to be a better way.

Let T know when's a good time for you.

No one's badge tank has been left out. T has explained in detail why the role of tank is extremely important and what you need to do if you want to fill that role.

Is it HARDER to get a badge tank on the runs than any other AT? Ya, it is. But you're not left out at all.

Also, it's my understanding that T intends to do this somewhat regularly, so even if you don't get your tank in this time, you have every opportunity to meet the above requirements and make your case for the tank role next time.
