See, its Super Leap, not Super Jump. Its all vertical movement, almost no horizontal. Only players get Super Jump.

Sonic/Sonic Defender, Technology Origin
A former council scientist who worked on a nanite that would bestow superpowers if it resided a superpowered host for an ammount of time. Made only one batch which he had Maestro incubate for him. Amoral rather than out and out evil.
More Background: His brother was kidnapped and implanted with nictus fragments, but did not survive the transformation. Seeing the high cost of villainy, he implanted the batch of nanites himself and fled from the council.
Costume: I like the Black/Blue scheme I have going, but the costume im not so thrilled with. I want to keep the helmet, or something similiar to it, and a golden/silver age super hero feel is what I was going for. Hes a Super Speeder, just like his name sake. Playing up the "mythical and fantastical" nature of his namesake would be a way to go.
Shouldn't be overly athletic as he is sort of a frumpy scientist, but hes not quite an average build either.
Thanks in advance. -
I need a good costume for my Elec/Elec Blaster Apotheose. Hes the product of centuries of gene manipulation and selective breeding and is essentially the "apotheose" of humanity. Sort of a pretty boy, he comes from a rich family. I like my Blue/Gold Scheme I have going, but if you have a better idea, run with it.
Thanks -
The quote on the super computer mentions use of Leylines and landscape geometry; the oil spill that dosn't dissapear shaped like a magic symbol could be just one part of this. Im thinking this "supercomputer" is in all actuallity the harnessing of magic from the use of symbols of power carved out on the earth (The Oil Spill being one of them) and using bits of technology to harness this power... to what end we dont know; use all that magical energy harvested from the earth to unleash demonic hordes maybe? This is the connection to Ba'tzul?
I have to say I am intrigued by the idea of turning the entire planet into one giant conduit for magical energy. -
*Semi, almost kind of barely a spoiler*
Check out the Prima Guide, some interesting info in their under the Port Oakes section on the BoTBS. It talks about Gadzul Oil, how they are a pawn of another power, and they are trying to come up with a quasi-mystical supercomputer, of which the sinking of the Cairo Queen was part. Apparently the oil spilled by the queen, if seen from above, looks like the Eye of Horus. Coudl it be that the BoTBS didn't hire the Hellions? Their opponents did to war agaisnt Gadzul? It seem the BoTBS did htough, as doing Bocor's arc again I reread what Mordrogar said and decided maybe people would like to have the exact wording here, it dosn't spoil anything for the Arc so go ahead and look.
"...The Shape of the oil sees only the truth. It is the struggle, the circuit, the connection, it is all the Blood of the Black Stream..."
the circuit and connection part makes more sense now we know about the supercomputer. Given all the connections to oil, the Blood of the BLACK STREAM seems like it can have double meaning, being a reference to the nile, and their apparent connection to oil. Black stream? Sounds like oil to me.
Aswell, I think the idea that the Hellions were hired to work against Gadzul by someone else (not the BoTBS) is given credence by the fact the padre Hendri (I think thats his name) was given a tip while in Egypt about Bat-zul and subsequently came to the Rogue Isles to bind him.
Sounds like potentially to Epic ATs; the BoTBS as a villain archetype, and possibly whoever is opposing them (as it seems to be).
Im sure I have forgotten some important fact that explicitly states the Hellions are working for them... so please let me know -
Arachnos and the Council (then the 5th Column) were once one in the same, but eventually they split, Recluse leading the "legitimate" half and Requiem running of with the other half.

A good idea for each of these guides would be to give a time estimate for completion. also, the minimum number of participates.
Otherwise, very nice. -
SNake Charmer does indeed give you the Cobra gladiator, have that on several toons aswell.
-
Seconded, great guide, but I do believe you have the Exploration badge Chum mislabled; you state it as havng a gladiator attached, but on all the toons I have recieved it on I never recieved a gladiator in addition.
Just bugged or is did you mislable it? -
I wholeheartedly agree, its cliche, and I know im not the only one who passionatley hates cliches.
Off course, it does serve its purpose, and there isn't a whole lot of leeway to work around it, but if you can, it would be nice.
