I've tons of good memories. The earliest I remember is back around issue 6ish time frame that I'm fond of is I was out with my Lightning / NRG blaster flying over Perez Park. I'd just hit 21 and was zipping along killing time until my SG got on in a little while. I happened to be flying over when I noticed three heroes throwing down against the Thorns. Ok, no big deal. I almost went by when I saw them get too close to two more mobs. Que begin of party wipe as they draw in Thorns, Hydra and all sorts of ugly. I dive down as the last member is still up trying like crazy to rez her team-mates. I quickly typed, "see to them, I'll cover you".
I start hammering down. She got her team up and on their feet, and I let them take the lead. In the end: Mobs down, Hydra down. No team wipe. Good day. It may sound silly, but I felt like a hero. -

Playing CoX and CO both now. A group of us have made some of our characters on CO and have been RPing and trying CO. It's different, but if you're a super hero fan, it's ok.
We're teaming up and still looking for other CoX RP'ers who've gone to CO to team with also. We've found that CO has enough there ( goofy or not ) that we can RP around some of the odd stuff in CO. Once we teamed and RP, the game improved greatly. Adventure packs really helped.
If any RP'er wants to team up, let me know. We're on there off an on when we're not on CoX.
Like I said, it's not my CoX home (which I'd rather have), but for me its better than DCU and the rest for me. -

It's Diablo III. No really, literally, the play style is Diablo III. You start out by playing your favorite Marvel hero. Then you *can* make something custom, but you have to pick which Marvel hero you're customizing to make your custom hero.
Not really my cup of tea. -
Just wanted to add.. in the original Tutorial the character of "coyote" was added by the Devs as a tribute to a player who was in Beta and passed away. He shouldn't be forgotten. One of devs may remember who that was.

I will keep working on my bases. One in particular that will have a secret entrance in the records room to a basement where the real superbase lies underneath the private detective ageny's office.
I will keep building them. I have to. Because if I don't, I'll forever wonder "what if" far too much on some idea or another later on.
I've looked around at other games. CO has "bases" ... though they aren't what we would want. Nothing else seems to have "base construction".
That leaves places like Second Life, but we could build bases there ... for me its the fact that what I've built has a useful function for my SG that is part of the joy. Second Life will be building, but will have no functional 'use'.
I hope CoH will be bought by another company, so I keep my hope card out for that. -

TT alternates between Freedom and Virtue every 3rd Tuesday of the month. This month it's Freedom's turn, so we'll be back on Virtue next month (October 16th). -

True enough. Though it can be tough to find others to RP with when you jump into Character. So far I've found most silently watch me then run off. <shrug> Not that it stops me in the least... I still yell at the muggers to lay off whoever they are robbing at the time.
