I'm definitely with SuicideSquid here, if you don't already have the human form self heal get that. (I assume you already have essence boost (Dull Pain) and are talking about reform essence).
If you are referring to Glowing Touch, the Heal Other equivalent, then this depends on personal choice. Since my background is as a healer I need this to make me feel complete (and to keep certain SG mates vertical!) but it is something which people argue doesn't quite fit with the rest of the powers so I wouldn't class it as vital generally.
If you do have the self heal then take the pets, unless you fancy being a really bad emergency backup healer.

> Do EndRedx enhancements help Conserve Energy?
Yes, these 2 end reducers drop the cost of activating conserve energy from about 10 to about 5.5 which means that using this power has a lower impact on my end usage itself. Maybe the slots could be better used elsewhere and only time will really tell on this, but for the moment it seems OK. Ideally I would like to slot end modifiers in there, but this power doesn't accept them so no dice there.
> Do you really manage human form without having endurance problems?
It depends on your definition of problems
Certainly without stamina the human scrapping form is pretty end heavy and I suspect once I hit 32 and get Dawn Strike it will be even more so. Conserve energy helps here and the occasional CAB takes care of the fairly unusal instance of major end problems. At the moment I mitigate end problems through switching forms, a few miuntes in dwarf or squid form restores my end sufficiently to switch back to human form while still allowing me to participate in the fight. It also gives things like essence boost and buildup time to recharge so they are available again.
Again, it maybe that I fine tune the slotting later on and add end reducers to the main human form attacks, but for the moment it doesn't seem neccesary.

I know, the debate about how many forms you should concentrate on is something many people are simply never going to agree on, so on the subject let me say that I AM intending to stay 3 form regardless of good advice to the contrary
Let me say this also, I am very happy and comfortable with changing forms and have become used to what the 3 are good/bad at.
An example strategy against a void or quantum.
Nova form..hair in at breakneck pace firing AoE followed by bigger blasts, hopefully the AoE will have the nasty off his feet while my 2nd and thrid strike hit home. Now quick change to human form which is a pretty much instant change (and due to my key bindings brings up my shining shield to help protect me from the other agro I have inevitably drawn) and use IS, RS, GB to pummel him further. If he is still standing, or even if he isn't, I will usually swap to dwarf form at this point to help manage the major agro I've created. There are obviously situational variations on this depending on how things go and the level of the mobs involved. Self heals, essence boost, conserve energy, buildup, hasten, any and all of these things might also be triggered during the human phase. Also, please bear in mind before ripping me apart on this strategy that this is only one of many for this particular situation and is intended to demonstrate the use of the combined forms.
On which basis, I would appreciate any comments on my proposed build:

To be honest, the inclusion of stimulant is partly because it sort of helps complete the minor/backup healer role when combined with glowing touch and partly because I really couldn't think of much else I really wanted at this level.
The later powers, pulsar the self res and the two shields are there to use the slots pretty much, obviously they all have their uses but I simply don't see them as a priority in this build.
BTW..I have followed this build to level 27 so far and am pretty pleased with it as far as it goes.
Thanks in advance.

3 form is perfectly viable as long as you carefully manage your slotting and power choices.
There are human form versions of many of the other form attacks and taking these is pointless. Change form.
For taking out voids, quantums and those big nasty bosses I find that Build Up, Incandescent strike, radiant strike and a gleaming blast puts the finsih to most things. After that, either tank it out in dwarf form for the rest of the mobs or drop back and blast away in nova form.
Fianlly, as to your original question, you are correct, stealth only stays in effect while you are in human form. Change form, no stealth.

Last night amid much carnage Rooney finally managed to ding the big 5-0. He celebrated shortly after with the traditional face plant and pile of dead heros
Skimpy -
Big gratz Jackle.
So now you can concentrate on beautification. Of the base, obviously
Oh, and I may be wrong, but I think Frosty means prestige rather than inf, but we'll forgive this mistake on this one occasion. BUT NEVER AGAIN!
Skimpy -
Personally I couldn't cope with not having a travel power at that level and would swap Stealth and Invis for maybe combat jumping and super jump. If you want additional stealth then go super speed instead.
Unless you are doing a lot of PvP the additional invis is simply not worth it.
Skimpy -
Unthing, since you have a sspines/regen scrapper and a spines/regen stalker I figure you are in a pretty much perfect place to comment on the differences between Stalkers and Scrappers.
Care to comment? I would be fascinated to hear your thoughts on this.
Skimpy -
Another thing to bear in mind here is that since I am hoping to avoid stamina I won't have the boost to regen rate that you have from Health. I guess in an ideal workd both would be good to have, but since I have very limited slot space I think FH is the better of the 2 and doesn't have a prerequisite power, thus saving a slot.
Skimpy -
Thanks for the feedback Unthing. I am thinking that Fast Healing is definitely worth while. At base levels it gives 75% on regen rate which on it's own reduces your 1hp-full time from 240 to 137. 3 slotted with equal level SOs it goes down further to 97. When combined with integration that drops further to 74 (both unslotted) and with both 3 slotted it is 49.
All that is basically a lot of semi-pointless numbers which for me suggest it is worth getting this power
I have no great delusions about being able to stand around in a fight for long or be a scranker or anything like that, but what I am aiming for here is a toon who can get in, do the damage and stand around for a bit to help take out some of the agro they have created. I don't have the DEF or RES to stand around and take the big hits, but I would rather not have to bug out and leave the brute and squishies to handle the agro I have just caused until I can sneak back in and annoy everyone again.
Also, I want as little enforced downtime due to healing as possible between fights, so by the time I have rehidden I want my health to have recovered as much as possible and for me to be ready for the next mob.
Skimpy -
Ok, Bad Skimpy (wow, what an imagination I have for names!), my level 20 Ninja Blade/Regen stalker is great fun to play, but only every really having played controllers and defenders before I have no clue on the melee side of things. I would appreciate any and all comments on the following build. Thus far I have:
1) Sting of the Wasp
1) Hide
2) Gamblers Cut
4) Reconstruction
6) Assassin's Blade (love the animation for this)
8) Build Up
10) Combat Jumping
12) Placte (I LOVE this power)
14) Super Jump
16) Integration
18) Dull Pain
20) Divine Avalanche (finally replaced Brawl in my attack chain)
This is as far as I've got so far. My basic plan for the next few levels is:
22) Fast Healing
24) Recall Friend (excellent for ghosting to the final fight of a mission)
26) Soaring Dragon
28) Instant Healing
As you can see, I am trying very hard to avoid Stamina as I feel there are just oo many very cool powers and so I will use end red enhancements to help with this problem. At least 2 in Integration, and at least one each in my attacks.
So, as I say, any comments or derision are welcomed.

Big gratz Kid Hellfire. Now you can faceplant to your hearts content and not worry about the XP. Until the level cap is rasied at least
Skimpy -
Yeah, I get this too. You run up behind them and come to a complete stop. Hit AS and get interrupted! the most annoying thing is when they they run off and you have to move after them to retry the AS, same thing happens again.
With this much teeth grinding they'll be stubs before christmas!
Skimpy -
Thanks for the feedback, pretty much confirms what I already thought.

Agreed, not much more to say

But you could say it twice, just to make the point

After a bit of an alts session last night there are a few to add to this.
The latest list (to the best of my knowledge)
Tera - One Winged Angel, Katatsubasa no Akuma, Infernomancer
Prawnee - Warbaby, Cruella de Vine, Botulism, negatron
Skimpy - Cal Amari, Grandad, Spawn of Skimpy, Evil Skimpy, Bad Skimpy, Lethal Force
Rooney - Katella, Notorious Baggart, Nuclear Baggart
Nitrux_S - dark servitor, light servitor, sophia, nitrux oxide, overdose, Lady Blast
Frostellicus - Needles, Mr Noncredible, Captain Forever, Sinister Dexter, Cabaret
Ugly - Rotten, Mr High Society, Bugly, Angel Face, Sawney Bean, ugly's twin
Fire Green - Sealamin, Lois, Dave The Nut, Mad Fire Green
Tribe - Tribette, Twisted Sis, Mercuary
Lady Tiara - Lady T, Anabliss
Roaster - Light Roaster, Evil Roaster, Ghost Roaster
Demonette - Green Lightbulb, Jackle, Last Laugh -
I have a pretty straight forward question really. Is resilience worth taking? It only seems to give a fairly small res increase and a little protection from disorientation, which while useful on occasion, it would mean using a power slot that could be taken by something more useful.
Thoughts and comments gratefullly received.
Skimpy -
Nope, wrong again, it's Roaster, but you're getting closer, keep tying.
So, anyone know what's happened to Nit?
Am I just missing something?
Has he joined us?
Has he disappeared in mysterious circumstances from the face of the planet?
Have the things he got from Ugly spelt final doom for his already beleaguered machine?
Skimpy -
Stalkers and brutes seem to be something which is sorely lacking in the SG right now, so either/both of your baddies will be very welcome additions
Yeah, I saw him Sunday, he said "see you tomorrow"
Oh well, he'll turn up, we aren't lucky enough for him to stay away forever
Still think his villain should be called Pretty Boy
Skimpy -
Now, has anyone heard anything of Ugly? Thought he would be around last night, but no sign.
It appeared that he was on CoH as rotten at one point, but he ignored me. See, he can be sensible
Skimpy -
OK, well, I was kind of trying to avoid the thorns set as it seems something of a set de jour, but in the end, as Prawnee will atest, this is in fact what I've gone for.
Ice came a close second but in the end was edged out by the fact that having large spikey thorns suddenly spring out of you just looks so evil
Reminded me of Beetlejuice, anyone remember that movie? What a classic!
Skimpy -
So, alt's list hey. The basics are in my sig, but here goes:
High Society
Skimpy - level 50 Illuion/Empathy Controller
Cal Amari - level 26 Peacebringer
Low Society
Grandad - level 24 Fire/Ice Tanker
Shadow Society
Spawn of Skimpy - level 11 Plants/Thorns Dominator
Unaffiliated
Evil Skimpy - level 2 Merc/Traps Mastermind
Bad Skimpy - level 4 Blade/Regen Stalker
(I have a great imagination for names!)
I have several other heroes and villains, but I'm not going to tell you who they are!
Geez, I have to have some way to escape you lot for a bit
For anyone who doesn't know me, I'm a quiet unassuming type who seldom speaks up or gives opinions.
To those who do know me, sshhhh!!!
Skimpy -
Well, as of first thing tomorrow I will have Spawn of Skimpy running as my main toon. Yes I know I said evil skimpy or bad skimpy would be, but it's a much cooler name. (And yes demonette, I DID come up with this name on my own, it just so happened you suggested it at the same time!!!
)
My intention is to split my time to some extent between the two. I would hate to abandon our SG mates in CoH, but we do have a new evil empire to build in the rogue iles!
Oh, and of course we need prestige so Tera can build our SG base!
And as for Rooney's comment, I shall take it as the compliment it was no doubt meant to be!
Anyway, I am still looking for useful suggestions on the original post, depite my SG mates rather pathetic attempt to hijack the thread!
